This foam roller works as expected. It is firm and targets tight muscles. It has been used on floors that are not perfectly clean and has not developed any dents or divots in the foam. The foam is durable and a great quality. It is large enough to be comfortable for all body parts, but slightly too large to fit in a gym bag.

This foam roller has been the perfect addition to my at home gym equipment. I have used it for not only recovery after a workout, but also during workouts to simulate various Pilates-reformer style moves! Affordable, durable, and lightweight are my favorite qualities about this foam roller.

This is the same size as the one at the PT office, works fine for me. It's quite stiff, and could use a little bit of external cushioning for total comfort like the one in the office, but not enough to be a problem, I can do my 2 minute PT exercise at home quite easily.

This one is a great roller and it isn't too firm. Makes rolling out muscles an ease.

This thing is hard as a rock. Company says it provides soft compression. I can't imagine this being used by anyone but a person who wants a very hard rock-like experience. When a person requests a soft foam roller, they should be taken to the pages of those who actually possess them.

Got this roller for my son who's doing PT for his knee. The description calls this soft, but it's not really that soft. However, having tired a few different ones, I think this is the softest one you'll find for the price. It works just great, just a little harder then he'd like.
