I feel like I've entered another level of my baking capabilities with this little kit. It comes with lots of goodies that will help make your cakes look like they came from a bakery instead of the average kitchen. This was a very reasonable price for something that makes me feel more confident with my kitchen skills. If you're not a baker, this would make a good gift to someone who is or has watched enough baking shows to think they'd like to attempt some baking.

I am a novice cookie decorator. I try, but am not always successful. This piping bag & tip set helps with the smaller details for cookies & cupcakes. It comes with a lot of disposable piping bags, so making all the different colors of icing will be much easier. The number of tips is more than adequate for my needs. I think this is a great set for beginners; if you are more advanced, you may want sturdier tips.

This is a great set if you are just starting out, it comes with everything you may need. If you have been doing this for awhile it is a great set to add to your collection. The durability has held up against anything I have tried with the bag, but I have never had an issue with bags bursting anyway. I am sure people out there want more tensile strength, but I am satisfied with what you get for the price point, whether it is as a hobby or business.The tips are not unusual, which could be disappointing for those looking for new novelties, but I found it reassuring. If I am looking for eccentricity, I tend to get the individual pieces specific to my own style. 18 pieces should be relatively standard, and I am happy with what I got.
