JBL ProSilent Aeras Micro S3, Set of 3 coloured air stones for fine air bubbles in aquariums

ProSilent is a little misleading in my opinion. These stones are as noisy as any other stone. They give good amount of bubbles if that is what you need.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought a Ziss Breeder Box which came with their plastic air stone. It produced large bubbles and was so loud I was thinking of giving up.After looking for a replacement air stone, I came across this 3 pack of JBL air stones and thought I would give them a go for £1.56 delivered next day.As you can see in the video it produces small bubbles and is so much quieter compared to the Ziss Air Stone. I have the stone connected to a Nicrew Nano Silent Air Pump, running at about half air throughput, which is controlled by a valve.

The media could not be loaded.  Great little air stones, I certainly get a lot of mirco bubbles for such a small airstone. I love the three bright colours (not sure why they need to be coloured, but then why not)! I've used one in the rear aquarium filter so my water is adequately oxengenated. I've also used one in my DIY k2 moving bio filter. These airstones are prefect to simply pop in the top of a plastic bottle for a DIY moving bio media bottle. The third will be used on another DIY bio k2 filter in my pond filter.

I bought these as they were meant to be 'silent' and produce small bubbles. Neither could be further from the truth, I have tried both, after a long soak, and they are both really noisy and produce normal to large bubbles, certainly not micro bubbles. I have only given 2 stars as they do produce some bubbles, but no better than a standard air stone.

I've just installed these and they are perfect - the bubbles are small and neat, but with enough force to oxygenate the water and disrupt the surface. I've chosen to anchor mine behind a piece of slate, but these would be completely fine on their own too - no additional weight required.If anyone has ever tried to take a picture of their tank, they'll appreciate it's really hard haha - attached anyway.

Only 2 of the 3 worked, one of which also crumbled really easily. Still using the remaining one and it seems to be working okay at the moment

I bought these to replace blue ones (brand name forgotten) that were making the most awful noise while releasing air bubbles. The noise stressed me out, can only imagine how the fish were feeling! These ones are fantastic - lots of big bubbles and completely silent.
