They are made with spruce wood, stained a color of your choice, the exterior is sealed with a satin polyurethane. It is finished with an elegant country style handle and hinges. ** Note: We do not typically stain or put polyurethane on the interior of the box as this is the area where food is stored. This is our preference for our family's pieces. ** Our bread box can hold up to 4 full size loaves of bread in the top compartment. The bottom compartment is great for onions or potatoes. It can also be used to stash away electronics, power cords, or your stash of treats and snacks. Besides stain options we can also do custom paint colors.
