This is some of the best natural soap we have bought. This is the third or fourth reorder. It gets you squeaky clean and actually lathers.

I was nervous about this at first because I use the Van Man tallow & honey balm and the smell is not bad but not delicious. It’s so amazing for sunburns and will heal your skin super quickly. That being said- the soap is not bad. It doesn’t leave a strong scent when you get out of the shower so it won’t compete with any of your perfumes/lotions. I use it on my chest and neck as a skincare for anti aging since so I don’t have to use so much of my face wash. Great addition to your routine especially if you are sun burnt. Wash your body with this, pat dry, apply the tallow balm and your skin will heal perfect the next day! This brand has been known for being “cancelled” by liberals and leftists online- major green flag. & vanman always calls out big pharma. Conservative owned and will NEVER sell out to big companies like all of the “natural” brands always end up doing. Loyal customer for life!

Love the product but a little pricey

I was really hoping for a soap that smelled like honey or vanilla, but neither scent came through in this bar. During my first shower, I honestly thought Amazon sent the wrong product. I double‑checked the box — nope, it was definitely the Tallow and Honey bar. The good: The stamp on the bar is adorable — great branding and adds a little fun and flair to what is a fairly pricey bar. I also love the concept: simple, clean, good‑for‑you ingredients. It lathers nicely and rinses clean. My experience: I tried it on my face first at the sink because I have super dry skin and wanted to see (and smell) how it performed. It didn’t dry me out and actually gave a touch of moisture, which I appreciated. I figured maybe the scent would come through more once I got deeper into the bar, so I took it into the shower. Still nothing. The scent is basically identical to my regular unscented tallow moisturizer — no distinct honey, no vanilla. Value: For the size and the lack of any yummy, delicious scent, the price is a bit hard to justify. If it actually smelled like honey and vanilla, I’d happily pay the $14 because I’m a scent girl through and through. But as it is, I wouldn’t repurchase at this price. The photos show the bar after three showers. I’ll update if anything changes or if the bar doesn’t last as long as I expect. And yes — I’m still holding out hope that there’s a little scent hiding in the middle, but patience is not my strong suit.

Excellent soap in all departments, faint smell but incredibly natural in all ways and does wonders for the hair and skin, but damn is it expensive and it goes a bit quickly! I love the soap, and the cost is the only reason why not 5 star, if I was wealthier I'd have no trouble, but for this cost I use Dr. Seymours for the hands and VanMan for the shower

TLDR: Moisturizes, cleans, great scent, 1 bar=3-4 weeks: it’s 8/8 gr8 This soap is great, it leaves me feeling clean (I’m a chef and work gets greasy), has a good scent, and doesn’t dry out my skin (even in the dry winter climate). I previously used Dr. Bronner’s bars, which are about $5. The two issues with Dr. Bronners are; they never make it to two weeks (usually about 7-10 days), and they dry out my skin a ton. My first Vanman’s bar lasted just under 4 weeks, which i found incredible. I never even considered that there may be a soap that could clean and moisturize my (very sensitive) skin without the ample and varied petroleum based, or otherwise harmful/irritating compounds until i tried Vanman’s. Other tallow soaps are cheaper, but they also have those problematic oils/compounds. When I consider the longevity and quality of Vanman’s, the price is more than fair. Overall, if any of these issues sound like you, or if you want to try a good quality tallow soap, I recommend trying Vanman’s, it’s well worth the price. My only regret is not taking advantage of the discounts on multiple bars. I rate it a solid 8/8 gr8 product m8
