Ninja Flip Toaster Oven & Air Fryer, 8-in-1, Stainless Steel, SP151

Best little toaster oven we’ve ever bought. This is our second one. We had the other for many years. We couldn’t get it clean anymore. It air fried, air baked, broiled and of course toasted. The two Features I like best are the size, it easily will cook a 12” pizza and up to 9 slices of toast. The other cool feature is it flips up to save 2 sq ft of counter space. The controls and timer all worked well too.

We bought this as a replacement for our Cuisinart Air Fryer Oven that died after only 2.5 years. This is in our vacation home. We have a Breville toaster oven at the main home, so I am comparing all three. What I like about this is the low profile. I don’t have to worry about putting food or spices in the cabinet above it and it getting too warm. It is still very spacious and can accommodate quite a bit. It toasts great! If you are a toast lover and don’t want a separate toaster, get this. It also reheats leftovers quickly. And works well as an air fryer but watch closely till you get used to it. We don’t think we will use the flip up function much because it looks good down and we don’t need the additional space, but it is a nice feature. The only thing I struggle to get used to is the door handle on the left side. I am right handed and usually have my plate in my left hand and my utensil in my right. To open or shut the door I am reaching across with my right hand which feels awkward. I may adjust to this, but I wish they would have placed it on the top. I’m still giving this five stars because it’s the best option for the price, works great, and looks attractive on the counter compared to other options.

I purchased the Ninja flip air fryer/toaster oven during Prime Days October 2025. Previously I had pored over almost every review of every type of air fryer Amazon sold and concluded that they were all not worth owning. It didn’t matter the cost because they all got some great reviews but, also, got some pretty lousy and dangerous sounding reviews. A positive personal review from a family member who owned this Ninja model pushed me to take a chance and order it. I decided to wait almost 6 months so I could write a more informed review. I am so pleased with my purchase! I use it 5-6 times a week and whether I am making dinner from scratch or heating up leftovers the oven is everything I hoped for in an air fryer/toaster oven. It has made weeknight dinners so much faster and easier and freed me from firing up my big gas range/oven. Ironically, one of the features that most appealed to me was the ability to flip it up on the counter for extra space when not is use. However, I use this little oven so much I don’t bother flipping it! I did purchase rectangular parchment liners because cleaning up the air fryer basket was not easy so I highly recommend getting them. I also line the baking tray under the air fryer basket with aluminum foil for even easier clean up. I mainly use it for air frying, baking and broiling. I am happy to say this oven hasn’t caught on fire like so many Amazon reviewers claimed many brands do so I highly recommend it!

I have had four in one's, straight air fryer, good old-fashioned stove oven, grills of all sorts, and nothing and I mean nothing compares to this. I feel like I should be singing Sinead O'Connor Nothing Compares to you to this appliance lol! Food actually comes out hot and I mean piping hot! Pizza comes out crisp like it is done in a wood stove! Look at this fish! Look at the steam coming off of that which I cooked Under the broiler in this unit on a bed of frozen spinach and frozen kale fresh garlic and lemon juice! I would highly recommend this and I'm considering buying another one as a backup because you know how companies like to discontinue things. The only two issues I have which the trade-off for the way the food comes out is worth it, the front panel where it lists what food type there's a little square that lights up when you push the button but you can't really read the food that is printed on the machine those should be illuminated as well or bigger. I have to crouch down and really scrunch my eyes to read. The other thing is when I'm using just the air fryer and no pan except the drip pan Which is underneath the elements, if I'm reheating a slice of pizza and the cheese drips on the heating element that's frightful to clean. Otherwise, the value for the money is incredible there's so much you can do with this and seriously the food comes out top notch.

Excellent product. We started using this day 1. I have used the air fry, broil and toast modes. Air fry for regular size chicken breasts (NOT pounded thin) was 4 full minutes less than my last airfryer to reach an internal temp of 165 degrees! I also roasted zucchini I broiled up some chicken nachos as well and it did a great job in like 3.5 minutes! The heat is powerful and seems more concentrated/ efficient due to its smaller size. My LARGE air fryer took longer and didn't broil. I thnk the broil mode will be great for reheating a slice of pizza too! CON, I took off one star for the toast mode. We mostly eat fresh bakery sourdough. I started on a 4 setting which barely did anything (no color to speak of). Moved up to a 7 (highest setting) and it is still what i would consider a LIGHT toast. I tried the lower setting (3) and ran it through twice, while it toasted to a medium golden brown it made the bread hard as a rock! so i do not recommend that method. We replaced our toaster with this oven so I will just suck it up, but if you want to use it for daily bread toasting and like your toast medium/golden, you may want to reconsider.

The Ninja arrived yesterday. This is a really nice-looking unit; it flips up to stand on the counter thereby clearing up a whole lot of space. The toast this morning was great. Currently the unit is dehydrating apples. Whee, a new toy. What a fun and incredibly useful multi-talented appliance.

Can’t say enough about this. We started by making crostini and it came out perfect. Could easily make croutons with this air fryer. Then we cooked hot dogs in this. Perfection. Toasted sandwiches, reheated fried foods from restaurants, all basic things. Then we cooked pre-seasoned, raw chicken wings. Oh em gee. They came out perfect. I overcooked them a little, but that is just a matter of adjusting time. It’s a little larger than the 6qt air fryers that we were used to, but it’s large enough to cook a pizza. It can handle frozen foods, raw foods, reheating, toasting, air frying, roasting and baking, toast, bagels. Has a color function for the toast and bagel setting (how dark you want it) as well as how many slices you are toasting. It’s easy to clean, or at least easier to clean than the 6 qt drawer type air fryers, with its crumb tray, and a glass door that flips down. The heating elements are easy to get to so you can wipe them down, if necessary. And the best part? You can flips it on its back to make counter space. It’s even polite by telling hello and goodbye when you turn it on or off. Edit: It toasts bagels like a champ! End edit.

Ok, think of this as a 3.75 star review before I begin listing issues with this device. I really like the oven and air fryer functions on this device, a great way to cook anything from pizza, fries, baked potatoes, cakes, sausages, etc. It seems to cook them faster than my standard oven, and with a 90 second preheat, I often just put my food in while it preheats and cook it a minute less. It is so efficient, I couldn't possibly recommend it enough. That said, I do have some big complaints. First of all, I hate the interface being below the door; especially when the door opens by flipping it downward which will cover the interface every time you open it. I just wish it would have the interface somewhere, anywhere else. Second, if you open the door to do things like flipping food, the timer and heat does NOT pause the device at all. It's especially frustrating sometimes because if you open the door and forget to press the pause, the door covers up the interface and make it harder to just hit the pause button to make your adjustments quickly. I get normal ovens don't pause if you open the door either, but I would think this device could handle that function just fine. Finally, my third complaint is about the light. You press the button, and my light kicks on for about 20 seconds then shuts off. It has always done that, and while cooking... it works fine. The real problem with this light is when you must clean the oven. You're supposed to clean it every time you use it, so you will frequently touch cleaning up your machine if you use it often. I need the light to see the back of the machine and really get it cleaned up well; and it only stays on for a limited time is a hassle. Not only that, but the first complaint with the interface comes up once again. I will clean which will have my hand inside the unit often, so the door is open, when the light goes out, I must repress the button to turn on the light again. It is most frustrating when trying to clean this the fryer properly and I must hit the light constantly while pushing the door up enough to reach the button and turn it on again. I love the machine, but there is a somewhat mixed experience in my mind. If you can handle the complaints I have, you'll probably love it.

Our toaster never worked great. We got into making sourdough bread, and the odd shaped slices didn't fit the toaster. This has been a game changer. The bread comes out perfect, and we can use the oven as an air-fryer for so many other things. We don't use the flip feature, we feel it's just a gimmick that makes all the breadcrumbs and oil pool at the back for a nice smoke show the next time we use it. Still, happy with the purchase, and has been working well so far.

We love it! It warms up so fast and does not take lots of counter space after being flipped. It is very easy to clean.
