I ordered a tap kit to tap new threads for this thermostat. It wouldn't work. So I bought this, hoping I can pop in a helicoil to save the threads. This worked like a charm! I was stuck for days and this cut cast iron like nothing. Easy to use and provided a good amount of helicoils for installation. Great product and affordable!

Excellent buy! Easy to use! I used it for my first time on my Harley's head that had a broken exhaust stud. After the broken stud was removed this product came to the rescue, I was able to use the 5/16-18 heli coil that was included with this set, drilled out the hole with the included drill bit, tapped it with the included tap, then boom popped in the included heli coil, broke the tab off and now I'm rolling again. Pretty good quality, I would buy again.

This works great only down side is it doesnt have the tap handle

This kit has everything one needs to fix a thread. Very easy to use. I repaired a stripped thread for my compressor’s handle bolt in less than 5 minutes. Great quality steel.

Exactly what I needed complete kit for metric threads

The 7/16 - 14 tap is machined crooked. Reordered the second one came in not as bad as the first one but it is still machined crooked. Going to return it and order a different brand.
