The fit, the soft leather and mesh take me back to the 70s on a "10 Speed" and looking all Racey. These are quite thick and comfortable on the bars...thicker than back then, but great for short city or slow rides in a group, etc. Medium size is accurate. Love em.

I purchased these to protect my hands while using my wheelchair. I have small hands but after reading some of the reviews, I purchased the medium size. Not only are the beautiful, my pair (which arrived a day earlier) fit comfortably and the padding across the middle of my palm provides great protection! They are comfortable, breathable, they look great, and because I chose a medium, not too tight nor loose. I hope to have these a long time. 🙂

I was very excited to get these gloves. A recent disability caused me to become a manual wheelchair user, and my hands have been dying. The gloves are a massive help. They have great grip, padding, and they’re really cute.The only problem is that they are REALLY big. I have small hands, so I ordered a small. I wasn’t expecting a perfect fit, but the strap was almost too big to fit around my wrist. There’s also a lot of space between my pinky and the edge of the glove. I’m planning on buying a pair of regular fingerless gloves to wear underneath.Overall, I highly recommend, but I caution those with smaller-sized hands.

The sizing directions put me (5'11" / 165 lbs) at the top of the Small size.....which seemed off so I ordered the Medium. Way too small. I reordered size Large and the fit is spot on. I would recommend sizing as per glove size standard with gloves found at Home Depot or Wal-Mart.Nice, old-school cycling gloves. Appear well-made and an exact replacement for my 20+ year-old pair.

I wanted a pair of cycling gloves that don't look like they should be part of a Star Trek uniform; something stylish and understated. (Not that there's anything wrong with wearing a Star Trek uniform... at Comic Con! ;) I took a risk and ordered these despite the lack of any detailed reviews, and I'm very happy I did -- they are really great gloves.As the description says, they are real leather. If you've ever come off a bike and landed hands-first in gravel, you know why this is important: synthetic leathers just don't protect like the real thing. The crochet on the back keeps them cool despite the leather, so they're good to wear even on hot days. Before I bought these I was having an issue where my left hand went numb after riding for a while, and these gloves have mostly fixed the problem; the padding makes for a much more comfortable ride. So, excellent protection for hands.The only criticism I have is that they're definitely men's sizing, and run a little large even for that. I have large hands for a lady and bought the Small; it's still a bit big. So if you have small hands, they're not going to fit. Hopefully they'll start stocking size X-Small some time soon...

Normally wear LG work gloves, based on reviews I ordered XL and the fit’s about right. The mesh is nice, comfortable and flexible. The leather quality was disappointing (looks/feels bit like plastic) but then I asked myself “what do you expect for $12?”. Conclusion: they’re fine; I’ll keep ‘em.

These gloves are great! Some of the reviews said that the gloves ran a little big in size. I am usually a medium but now that I am older I like a loose fitting glove so I ordered a Large. Unfortunately it was still too tight on my hands. The gloves are so well made and nice looking that I was tempted to just use them but I did exchange for an XL and I am so glad that I did. I just got back from a 40 mi ride and really happy. It's possible that it feels tight because these are not thin flimsy gloves. The web mesh and leather palms are solid. Definitely recommend and would buy again

Two big problems. First, the opening on the third finger on each glove is the smallest finger opening and far too tight for comfort. The worst feature is the shape of the glove. Look at your open hand, palm side up. Notice that the top of the palm is not straight across from the index finger to little finger. The hand is shaped with a gentle arc. The gloves are made as if the there is no arc, just a straight line so after a couple of hours they feel like someone has a carpet knife trying to saw between the second third finger. Both hands are the same, so this a design problem, not a one off sewing error. 40 years of bike gloves and I've found some I like more than others, but this is the first pair I've ever had that is painful to wear. I took them off an hour into the 2nd ride with them and was much happier with no gloves than these torture devices.

I bought these for use with my camera. My hands get sweaty after long period of shooting & these gloves are great to stop the sweat getting on my camera. I just ordered my third pair today & might relegate one of my older pairs to driving.
