Works well.
Works really well. Adds a more personal touch to a greetings card or gift.

Great for my son's cosplay costume.
Great little product here. My son uses it for sound effects for his cosplay costume. It offers a selection of three tracks he can play. The only fault he could find with this is the volume. It would be nice if it went a little louder. In a noisy room, it's a little weak. The sound quality is good and clear however, and transferring tracks was simple. Be careful if you want to use the included stick-on backings. If you don't remove them carefully, they tear the cardboard packaging along with them. Except for those very minor negatives, this product is working fantastic. All in all, he's extremely satisfied with this item. Recommended.

Works well
Works well, and the sound quality is adequate. Linux had no clue what to do with the device when plugged in over USB, but MacOS worked well. The device appears as a FAT12 formatted 2MB storage device. I managed to get 50% more than the 2 minutes claimed by encoding my mp3s at 32KHz Mono 96kbps. Through the little speaker this sounds the same to me as the manual-suggested 44KHz Stereo(!) 128 or 192kbps. I used 6 sound files, which it plays in the same order each time, one per button press. The peel-and-stick didn't work out for me, but it was easy enough to remove their double-sided tape and attach the parts with a liberal application of hot glue. It runs fine off 3 NIMH AAs, which worked better in my application. I haven't tried Alkaline, as that's slightly more voltage than the included battery, and I couldn't find a voltage regulator on the board. It probably works fine though, as i bet the chips can handle 5V.

Funciona como debería
Solo diré que si tienen Mac no formateen el chip, solo con Windows funciona.

Good upgrade-hack for old talking toys.
I purchased this sound chip to install in an old talking toy puppet. Has a volume control. Good instructions included; a little tricky installing it in my toy, but that's not the product's fault. You will need Mp3s of your sound bites. Heads-up: The components are on a sticky back paper, so make sure you know what you are sticking it to....AND, to whatever you are installing it, you will need access to the chip to recharge or add sounds. As of this writing, I don't know how long my battery will last.
