I am absolutely in love with the Burt's Bees Wearable Blanket! It’s quickly become a bedtime favorite for my little one, and I’m so impressed with its quality and comfort. Burt's Bees Baby Beekeeper Wearable Blanket is the only wearable blanket we use on my grandson. Granted, it’s only the second brand I’ve purchased for him, but when you find perfection, why try to fix it? We keep it cool in our home…in all seasons…so he wears his sleep bag every night with a long sleeve onesie. He’s 15 months old now and has worn it since I found them here on Amazon when he was just seven or eight months old.The qualities I adore about this wearable blanket: it’s made of 100% organic cotton (no polyester, so it’s breathable while still being warm…eliminating sweaty babies). I found that it did not shrink when washed on warm and dried on low heat…or if it did shrink, it was so little that it was negligible. Since it’s made of 100% cotton, there is no stretch to the material, but not to worry about roominess. There is ample room for little hips to have full range of motion so as not to hinder proper development. The four sizes cover a large range of weight and length with Small for a baby as little as 23” and 10 pounds to X-Large for a baby as large as 40” and 36 pounds.As far as aesthetics, there are several patterns in a few colors available…with a couple of solid colors thrown in. These wearable blankets are offered in two TOG’s: TOG means Thermal Overall Grade and is simply a way to rate the warmth of products. Burt’s Bees makes their sleep sacks in 0.5 TOG and 1.5 TOG. (If I had one nit-picky complaint, it would be that they don’t offer a 1.0 TOG as well.) These sleep sacks do have a higher price point than many, but I believe they are worth it. Also, you can catch one at a discounted rate or use one of their coupons offered.Overall, I’m so glad I found these and did not hesitate to purchase. Burt’s Bees always has quality products and I’ve yet to be disappointed. I have three of these sleep sacks for my grandson: two 1.5 TOG’s and one 0.5 TOG. Putting this on every night is part of his bedtime routine that signals it’s time to calm himself, get snuggles, have a book or two read, etc all in preparation to go to sleep. My daughter is 14 months old and is wearing 24m/2t clothing. She's tall. We can blame my 6'8" husband for this. My biggest issue has been finding a sleep sack for her. I originally ordered a 24m halo sleep sack thinking surely it will be large and long enough. Nope. Other "sleep sacks" have the feet out like baggy pajamas and I don't know a single person who likes to sleep with BOTH of their feet exposed. A friend recommended this sleep sack and I finally caved and got it.I bought the XL, and my kid FINALLY has space. I'm talking several inches of growing room. She can wiggle a little and her toes aren't touching the bottom of it. Obviously because it's longer it's also going to be wide, which is fine, but this is something that happens with clothes at all ages. I am personally very happy with this sleep sack. The material is soft, the zipper seems nice and sturdy, and the cover for the zipper is large so you don't struggle to get it there.
