This is a great set to have on hand for anyone who likes to entertain! I used it this past weekend for a popcorn/candy movie night birthday party and it really helped with utilizing the space I had to the fullest. The white color is a great neutral and won't compete or clash with whatever theme you're going for. Everything is made out of metal with a smooth powder coat over it. All the edges are smooth with no jagged edges. I like that you can mix and match the pedestals to the cake stands to suit your needs. Wonderful addition!

The pedestals feels a little cheap to me, they don’t feel as solid as they look from a distance. Up close they look as though a little mistreatment will result in bending. They included utensils. Also look pretty good in the photos and from a distance, however, they do feel somewhat cheap. The stackable platforms are solid and they look it as well. They are useful in many applications as well.

This makes a great display. I ordered the gold so looking forward to using it for an upcoming bday party. It will be used for the desserts. It was simple and fast to assemble. It looks like it will hold up well. The finish is semi gloss.

This set is very nice and is just beautiful. It was great putting these different pieces on display. The dessert table is always the favorite but with the addition of the different pieces and being able to elevate the cakes and cupcakes, it seemed that more people were gathered around and reaching for samples of everything.In addition to displaying deserts beautifully, I also think this set will be wonderful for showcasing other items. For the coffee bar the bottles of coffee flavors, scones and muffins. The multiple pieces that can be used together or broken up and used at different tables for different items. The addition of the string tongs, knife and cake server are wonderful bonuses.Although the picture shows that the pieces are bright gold they are more of a brushed golden color but still very beautiful. The cake stands require a little bit of assembly but it is very simple and only takes a couple of minutes.There are so many pieces that you will be able to find just the right piece for your needs if you are not using all of the pieces. One of the things I realized is that presentation is everything. If you are looking to step up your dessert table or just to add a touch of class you won't be disappointed. I rate this set as a 10.
