Initially was thinking of buying a Dyson fan, but having been satisfied with the quality of another Vornado fan I own, I looked into what other fans they had to offer and I found this. Very high quality build that doesn't look cheap either. Absolutely no regrets. In fact this is my second ARA fan for the other room. The lighting feature is perfect for a night light. The remote is very simple and easy to use that I can tell which buttons are what without looking at it.

I have had several Vornado fans over the years and this one is the best. It is well built, powerful, oscillates at both 90 and 180 degrees and is relatively quiet given how powerful it is. I do wish it had one more higher fan setting. Highly recommended.

This fan lives up to its name!! It’s powerful, cools a large area, modern sleek design, and super quiet even on the higher speeds. It comes assembled except the base, which is easy to assemble with the included 4 screws. The build is solid. Excellent quality! I highly recommend this fan!

This 40-Inch Tower Fan with Remote Control arrived well-packaged and in good Condition. It’s made from good Quality Materials, which look durable, if treated with Care. The Fan is easy to use and control via its Remote Control. I love that it’s blowing strong, cool Air, which feels wonderful during hot Summer Days. I also like that it sucks in warm Air and Pet Hair, that’s easy to clean off the Fan’s Side. Overall, I really love this Fan and recommend it.

This was a great purchase. It pushes a lot of air and keeps the air circulating in our living room. It oscillates and has a night light, although the night light isn't terribly helpful for us. Dinged a star because the first one we received was broken (something was separated inside the fan and made a horrible grinding noise when turned on). The replacement has been fine, and we use every day. Would have been nice if it had Alexa integration at this pricepoint.

I hardly know where to begin with this one. For years, we avoided Vornado just because of the price alone. We figured "a fan is a fan", right?Wrong!This isn't the first tower fan we've owned, and every other one we've had was garbage. Our traditional rotary fans were far better than those. When we plugged this in and fired it up, we couldn't believe how efficiently it moved air (and how much of it!!). If you put the speed up all the way, you'll turn a room into a wind tunnel. And, on it's lowest setting, it's barely audible while somehow managing to drop the temp in our room by several degrees.But, not only is it efficient and functional. It's also elegant. I'm sure this will fit in with virtually any decor. And, this is NOT a cheaply made fan. You'll see that as soon as you open the box.As a nice added touch, it has a beautiful amber light that runs up and down the back and around the base. The light has several different brightness settings, or you can leave it off completely. The remote control also works very well, compared with the other remote-controlled fans we've owned.I can now see why Vornado charges what they charge. Because it's a high-quality product that will do the job better than any other fan you'll buy.

This is my first product by this brand and I must say I am impressed! I have a home office in the upper level of my home that does not receive enough cool air from my air conditioner and always seems hot in the summer. I am on my phone alot for work so I have been searching for a fan that would help cool down my office while not being loud enough to be heard by the other party during phone calls. This fan checked both of those boxes. As soon as I took the fan out of the box I was impressed with how high quality it looked and felt. Installing the bottom base of the fan was easy and I had the fan up and running quickly. I am impressed with how much air it moves and how quietly it does it. The fan is so powerful I ended up having to move it to a location further away from my desk than I had planned so it would stop blowing the papers off my desk. The included remote is a bonus and works as expected. I am very happy with this fan and will be looking for the Vornado brand should I ever need another fan.
