Initial impressions are good but these are not fashion items so it's long term durability that's important. They appear well made and good solid boots. I normally take a 7.5 shoe so these are a little loose but that's not a problem as I'll be putting an insole in. The boots took me back to childhood wellies. The rubber is fairly stiff so you get that mild slap against the calf as you walk mainly because they are not shaped to grip your feet at the heel which on the plus side makes then easy to get on and off. This is not a problem, if it indicates the boot material is tough. The boot cost is about as low as you'll get for neoprene lined, so still not cheap. They are a replacement for far more expensive Aigle's which were a more comfortable fit but flexed too much so cracked and split in a couple of years rendering them useless (yes, I did look after them and applied the special spray regularly, I'm never buying Aigle again). I'm hoping these being stiffer will last longer but only time will tell, I'll try to remember to come back and update the review accordingly. They only have 3mm neoprene so I will still need thick socks when the snows arrive but they are good and warm in autumn single digit temperatures. Used them for a couple of weeks now most mornings to walk the dog. I wouldn't want to walk long distances but they are fine for an hour or two and great for gardening activities . One minus is the sole is noticeably cool and a bit lumpy so a nice insole is definitely going to be fitted.All in all an 'okay' boot for the price rising to 'good' or even 'excellent' if in a year or two down the line they are still in good order.EDIT - one year in and they are still going well. No sign of cracking and splitting, they look as good as new. As I suspected, the main downside so far is the use of 3mm rather than 5mm neoprene means they are not as warm as I'd have liked but good thick socks and a thermal insole see to this. The heels also developed an annoying squeak within a month or two but this doesn't appear to have affected the waterproof quality.

I bought these boots in October 2021. I have worn them nearly everyday since dealing with horses and lots of dog walking. That are comfortable warm and hard wearing. I have tried many different brands over the years , these are definitely the best wellies I have had.I will definitely buy them again when my existing pair wear out.

So straight away I gave this product a 5 stars just because they are wide enough in calf and foot width for my shoe size. Normally I have to go up a size to get the foot width but with these i havent had to. I wore them straight away for a 3.5mile dog walk and I have to say they were comfy, warm and NO rubbing or boot slapping on back of leg when walking.They feel good quality and at a fraction of the price of the Big Brands !I am very happy with my purchase and if anyone looking at this thinking of buying they are good value for money and buy your shoe size dont be tempted to go up a size. There is still room for good socks so your feet will be toasty warm

These are really good quality wellies and are excellent value for money. They are very comfortable and I like the adjustable straps. I bought one shoe size bigger than my normal shoes. This was a huge mistake as the wellies are too big. They feel wide in the shoe part as well as the calf. This is not great for me as my feet are narrow; it’s my calves that are wide. Even so, I still have to tighten the straps as tight as they will go. If you have wide feet and calves, these will be perfect. They really are very well made. Unfortunately I should have sent them back and got the smaller size. I had Hunter wellies before these. They lasted for three years but were always too tight on the calves. I think these wellies will last even longer. They are also lovely and warm.

I am a size 5 and ordered a 5. I have really wide calves and a bunion. They are a generous fit, and are great. You can tighten up on the calf. They have plenty of room, however I think a size 4 might have been a bit on the tight side. I have only worn a couple of times, but have kept my feet warm and have been comfortable for dog walking.

These fit at the size you are. Most wellies you need to go up one size. I’m a 10 and these fit great. The lining was pulled off inside the box. These will be for my general day to day use on a farm. If they were a gift I’d be upset at the lining coming off before they’d been worn. Warm and a good fit.

My only dislike is that they are quite heavy , I'm using them for general farm work. They come on and off easily which is a bonus
