Can the feeder run on just battery power without power plug? Is the battery only for backup in case of a power outage?

Avoid using batteries as the sole power source while connection. When the feeder is powered solely by batteries, the Wi-Fi function and reset button will be disabled to extend the working time, while meal schedules will be carried out normally.
