Excellent Medium Size Knife.
I have bought three other knives over the past two years ranging from $200+ hand forged to $25 and have finally found the knife with all the qualities I have been looking for. This knife being mid priced, is an excellent value and does not get rust stains from cutting tomatoes. I highly recommend this knife for its size, comfort, sharpness, and construction quality.

Beautiful! Sharp!!
Love these! Especially love that they make it clear through their printed reference materials that these knives are NOT intended for Mortal Kombat. I’m glad they said so, cause I was wondering! They come beautifully packaged and have solid sheathes to keep everyone safe. Great purchase. Worth the money.

Sharp
Awesome knife. Sharp, good quality, feels good in hand. They say in directions that its not to be used for mortal combat. Very funny.

Gorgeous and eminently giftable
I love a good knife. This chef's knife is very sharp and cuts through both wrinkly tomatoes (squishy and delicate) and dried up ginger root (tough and woody) like butter. It is also gorgeous with a fantastic gifting presentation. The protective sheath is made of wood and also magnetic, so it will never slip off accidentally. So why did I deduct a star? Well, knife preferences are highly personal, and this knife just didn't fit me. It's quite large, and my hands are small, which made the large blade feel a bit clumsy to me. The top of the blade (and the blade in general) is very thin compared to my other chef knives. I like the top of the blade to be thicker for easier maneuverability and comfort when mincing or doing other two-handed cutting actions. I'm also not sure how I feel about the silhouette of the blade, which is much pointier than my other chef knives. I don't think the unique shape adds any functionality, but it's cool looking. Is it a nice knife? Yes. Will it become my new favorite? Probably not. But maybe it will be my husband's new favorite.

Beautiful. Low quality.
The knife came incredibly sharp. It looks gorgeous. However……it is not high quality. After using this knife to prep one meal, I would have guessed the price to be $20-30, not closer to $90.I worked as a professional chef for almost 8 years. I don’t any more, but I was looking for a decent home knife for daily personal use.The blade of this knife is incredibly thin and brittle. You can feel it when you use it. Using this knife on a standard home cutting board, the blade would catch and change the direction of the cut, even when pinching the blade properly while using the rocking technique. The blade catching on the cutting board comes from being too thin and stiff, which is usually a sign of cheap material. It also makes it very likely to chip.If you like the style and a lighter knife, by all means, it’s good enough. But if you’re looking for quality over looks, something that handles well, while also being likely to last a long time, I would not recommend this one. There are better quality knives for the same price.
