MODERNIQUE® 4ft6 Double Black Designer Modern Faux Leather Bed Frame

I literally couldn't believe that EVERYTHING fits in the space behind the zip pocket in the headboard, excellent packaging design. It went together easily enough on my own and I'm a bit disabled. It took me several coffee breaks but I got there in a couple of hours. Although I never want to see an Allen bolt again now for at least 5 years lol. The main issue with this frame for us old folks is that it is a bit too low for our aching knees. My solution was to buy another cheap double mattress to put underneath my decent Simba one. I looked into buying those 'bed riser' blocks you can get but as this frame actually has 9 feet touching the floor it can get a bit pricey buying bed risers as you'll have to buy 3 x 4 packs, plus 3 of those will be wasted. All in all though you really can't go wrong with this, it looks like it cost much more than £99.

Honestly it is so sturdy. Genuinely can't complain given that a very tall teen tends to throw themselves into it and it hasn't broken. Well worth the money, comfortable, sized correctly, looks nice, wasn't hard to assemble.

For the price you can't really complain about a huge amount but there are a few things I wish they did, I don't suspect it would cost them all that more to do either. I wish it wasn't so low to the floor, the middle support legs are different sizes, two of them don't touch the floor and I wish they had added rubber feet to the plastic feet, creates pressure points on flooring. Easy enough to build, all parts are on the headboard zip section and overall I'd say it's great choice.

STAY AWAY DON'T PURCHASE THIS BED! Look at my photos! I'm shocked that Amazon has allowed this supplier to sell this bed. It is also impossible that they have developed a product of such poor quality AND ABSOLUTELLY UNSAFE and could send us to a hospital, by causing us an accident because the bed simply COLLAPSED because the unsafe structure that supports the mattress, which only consists of pieces of wood with a plastic coverS on the end (which also come off). NO SCREWS TO FIX THOSE RIDICULOUS PIECES OF WOOD. !!Do not buy this bed for your elderly parents or those who have special physical needs or are recovering medically. Once you lie down, you can't move because all the wood supporting the mattress collapses. To make the bed, another nightmare, because every time I lift it a millimetre to organise the sheets, the mattress bed frame simply collapses too, requiring me to make an enormous effort to keep the mattress suspended in order to place every piece of the wood to a ridiculous piece of plastic at the only frame STABLE AND IN METAL IN THE MIDDLE ONLY. I bought this bed trusting the information about the frame (which I realise was misinformed by the seller) and the reviews which I'm amazed were mostly positive (I'm also amazed how these consumers were able to give a positive review for a DANGEROUS PRODUCT) and I'm furious, my wife is also furious and I'm not satisfied that they DID NOT GIVE ME THE RIGHT TO REFUND THE PAYMENT FOR THIS BED. I should have invested in a more expensive product with better quality, as I've suffered a loss and will have to find parts to fix it myself.

Nice bed frame on a budget.. Box was delivered to the wrong door, I did not receive a notification of the delivery and it was left outside. Set up.. fairly straight forward to assemble, would be alot easier if the holes lined up perfectly. Bed frame is very low to the ground.. might as well place the mattress on the ground.. wish the bed was higher off of the ground. Head board had minor damage on the corner. note the bed frame is very low... might as well sleep on the floor.

I can't understand the negative reviews, unless people got faulty materials delivered.(btw EVERYTHING will come in one box and be inside the Headboard, just open the zipper, its all there). Our bed was perfectly fine, easy to build up and even when i had doubts before, i got proven wrong. I thought for that low price you'd sit on it and it would break into pieces, i was even scared to lay down, but it's strong, it holds me and my partner ( we're both no skinny bones) without problems.. Plus heavy mattress! If you follow the instructions, you'll have it built up within minutes. I'm positive surprised.
