Valiant Active Glass Cleaning Scrub

I bought this in a last ditch attempt to remove smoke 'staining' from the inside face of the glass (which is actually transparent ceramic) windows of my wood stove after all other so called stove glass cleaners had failed.The stove is double fronted as it sits between two rooms, and so has two doors on opposite sides with a window in each. With replacement glass x2 costing £100 this cleaner was worth a punt. Success!I took the doors off and laid them flat on a worktop. I made several applications of the scrub and used fine steel wool (a Brillo pad should do) to apply it - removing each application using a damp cloth before applying the next. I also left the scrub on for about 20 minutes each time to let active chemicals do their work. It took 5 applications to get the desired result, but the staining had been quite acute - and I didn't have to cough up £100 for two new glass windows.I've now learnt to keep logs away from, and not to come into contact with, the glass!Highly recommended product.

Cleaning the glass on my wood burning stove was made easy with the glass scrub! I rubbed it onto the glass with a scratchless sponge and immediately could see the grime coming off. I polished it off with a clean rag and it was so clear. Minimal elbow grease required. I was recommend this by my chimney sweep. So glad I took the recommendation! Get it! You won’t regret it!
