This excellent book covers a wide range of issues, answers bunches of questions, and provides an informative introduction to the lifestyle world. An essential guidebook for those involved and those who are curious to learn more.

I did not realize there were so many sex related terms! Crazy....but awesome to read all the descriptions on each term. I really enjoyed this book, for a few reasons. It hooked me in! Although I don't believe I am fit for swinging, it does sound like a lot of fun. I took the quiz at the end and scored 43, so I guess the swinging life isn't for me! But I can't say I would totally rule it out in the future. Thanks for that read!

This is like a self-help/guide book to the swingers lifestyle. This quite an interesting read for those who are interested in learning more about this lifestyle. As like every other lifestyle, there is the good, bad, and everything in between. There are things that you should know before getting into this lifestyle. There are rewards and risks, like everything else. I love the great tips that these authors provide. I especially love the analogies and metaphors they use to demonstrate their points. I love how there is a table of contents if you want to skip around. There is a glossary too, if you aren't too familiar with the terminology. I don't know much about this lifestyle, so it was eye-opening. There is a lot to learn. I think this is a great resource for anyone wanting to learn more about the swinger lifestyle.I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book.

We've enjoyed the lifestyle for a few years now, and this book was extremely accurate and thorough. It's a quick read that will clarify everything regarding the lifestyle. There's even a quiz at the end to help you&your partner decide if BOTH of you are ready for the lifestyle. The analogies they use to explain reasons for why all kinds of people choose this lifestyle are excellent and easy to understand (even if you're hard-core vanilla). Definitely a book that BOTH halves of a sexy couple need to read to help THEIR lifestyle experience reach the drama-free, blissful ecstasy that any swinger works towards. I've read a few "swingers guides" over the years, and this one is by far my favorite one. It's the most thorough, least biased approach to how the lifestyle works and if it's something that would work for you.

I received this book as an exclusive ARC. I'll admit it's not my usual fare and I'm more abstractly-curious about swinging than ready to participate - but it was a brilliantly written book packed with fascinating information that goes far beyond what I'd imagine.

No matter your stance on the topic this book is informative and eye opening. A great read for curiosity's sake. Looking at some of the reviews I can't imagine being so pent up that a book made me uncomfortable.

Comprehensive, well written. Covers just about everything. Good advice for anyone interested in the lifestyle. Also offers guidance on resources.

It's clearly written by and primarily for Americans (there's a line about doctors being glad to give vaccinations because they're profitable, for example) but most of the bits that strike me as odd about the scene - like the double standard around bisexuality and the body hair phobia - do reflect a reality.Apart from that, it's a solid introduction that's actually book-sized rather than being a badly written magazine article.
