This would make a great gift. The appearance of these tins and the packaging is impressive. The graphics, paint, finish and overall appearance is impressive. This pack arrived in October of 2024 and had an expiration date of 03/2028. Each tin is a small serving, but they are worth every bite. These cuts with seasoning taste great all by themselves, or on crackers. These are simply a great gift idea that would be enjoyed by most anyone who likes fish.

Upon opening the first can of this sampler pack, the smoked rainbow trout in olive oil, I saw lovely small fillets of rainbow trout, not the mush you often find in canned seafood products. My can had two fillets with skin on, and I think they’d make a perfect protein meal for one person on a cracker or toast, which I plan to do with the can of trout with lemon. They aren’t so fishy smelling and tasting as canned sardines and the like. I decided to make trout salad canapes with the trout in olive oil for fun, mixing the it with cream cheese, horseradish, onion, and dill, and serving it on cucumber slices and crackers. It was possibly the best I’ve ever had. The ASC-certification is very important to me, and I’m happy the salmon products have it.

I grew up enjoying smoked salmon, and an assortment of canned fish with my dad, so this was a special treat to share with him. The cans were much larger than I expected. Each tin was filled with a different type of seasoned fish. All were truly tasty! We just sat with crackers and chips and small forks, and enjoyed these cans one at a time over several days. They're really a treat!

I live on the Gulf Coast where seafood is abundant so it's rare that I find enjoyment in a can but this set makes the grade. Each was nicely seasoned hearty filets, enjoyable by themselves and certainly would go with many sides.

So this is a fun sampler pack of various fish. The boyfriend smashed the smoked salmon dill before I could blink, leaving me a sample of the sample, lol! Truly yummy fish, and as the boyfriend isn't traditionally a fish eater I'm way impressed with this box. The rest will be consumed over basmati rice with grilled veggies, as most fish should be. Yes, the price is crazy right now, at $7.50 a can, but it's not completely ridiculous either these days anyway, especially since these are so yummy.

I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the rainbow trout ones since I'm not a fan of freshwater fish, but I ended up liking them more than the salmon ones. Which is a shame, because I love salmon. But despite the fancy presentation, the salmon just tasted like any other canned salmon. And in the end, these are all just canned fish, there's only so much you can do to make that gourmet. So they ranged from okay to good, but maybe not the best value.

Delicious! The most fresh and mild tasting tinned fish I've ever had- for better or worse. If you like a super salty super smoky flavor you might be disappointed, but if you like a refreshingly mild tasting experience these are a must!Loove how the trout comes with the skin on for a beautiful chance of pace for a large tinned fish spread- you don't often find them with the skin-on! Doesn't lend any weird texture or fishiness FYI, just looks lovely!Great mild olive oil base too. Value for product a bit steep for frequent pruchase from me but I always appreciate these!!

Assorted salmon and rainbow trout, 2 in olive oil and 2 with a bit of flavor. I don't really cook much especially not with fish so my review is just eating these plain out of the can. I almost liked the fish with plain olive oil more, the flavored fish was definitely not bad either though. These are a really tasty option to have on hand for an emergency they are shelf stable for many years.
