Good item
Works as advertised. Bought to fit a wide mouth Ball mason jar. Helps facilitate pouring and sipping out of jar. Adds handles. Good purchase.

Great for custom size, hefty glass pitchers. A match made in heaven.
-Spout/ handle screw on jar tops that are made for standard wide-mouth canning jars, like Ball or Mason. I’ve found them to be nice & hefty, unlike some glass pitchers I’ve come across, that I can tell want to break with the slightest bump -Allow for custom small size sturdy pitchers: You can use these handle/ spout lids on any size wide mouth canning jar, namely 16, 32, or 64 ounce. I prefer 32 ounce for some drinks I refrigerate & 64 ounce for others, (along with a couple large glass pitchers for select drinks). I like to make a bunch of drinks all at once, to have available for ‘grab & go’ while I work at home throughout the day. I don’t like the interruption during the day of messing with this, so I enjoy this process, of making all my drinks in the morning, often for the next several days. I make pitchers of regular & decaf iced coffee as well as blended black/ green tea in the summer. I also make herbal watermelon lime tea, or some other herbal teas, of which I have a tea shop full of flavors. I make varying amounts of these drinks, & in general, I don’t want massive quantities of any of them, or they will go stale before I can drink all of them. So havine a variety of small pitchers works best for me. Couple this habit, with the fact that I had trouble finding any good, reasonable glass pitcher locally, when I looked in the past, and this spout/ handle lid allowing mini-pitchers is definitely a match made in heaven for me! I will now have 5 glass pitchers (once I find the a couple 64 ounce jars, which I saw online, are available at local stores at a very reasonable price) -sufficient to do the job, but plain & basic: these handles are pared down to as basic as you can get. I was able to buy another version (seen in the photos), that has the glass jar with it, & the handle was much more robust & forming to the hand & hefty. It was also much more expensive. I feel money wise, the deal was not a value, when I saw the minimal design. Nonetheless, the product is so value to me in terms of purpose, that I still consider it a great find, everything considered with my needs & my struggle to find food glass pitchers & the benefits of this tool -lid spout cover is sticky at 1st & must be worked in: I was concerned about how difficult it was to open/ close the spout cover at 1st. So I just kicked back in my chair, & held the plastic lid in a position that allowed maximum grab leverage, & repeatedly opened & closed it, hoping it just needed to be worked in. Sure enough, after about 10 tries, I saw a massive, noticeable difference in how easy it was to open & close the lid. This worked with both lids. (You could also use a dab of food grade silicone on the outer part). -thumb slot: I found that my thumb is able to fit in the opening in the handle, near the top of the jar, giving added stability. This may not work for people with very large man hands however.

Great Replacement Caps
I had a mason jar pitcher that I loved, but the top fell in the dishwasher, landed on the heating element, and was ruined. These tops are perfect replacements that saved my favorite pitcher at a VERY affordable price.

Handy Lids for Mason Jars
The concept of these lids is great and give another use for canning jars. I like to use canning jars for cold brew coffee and teas in the summer but have always struggled with pouring them without spilling. These lids solved the issue. Two lids came in this set for a price of 9.99 at the time of this review. I find this a decent value.I did find room for improvement with this product. The gasket is narrow, easily falls out, and only creates a spill proof seal if you have the gasket in the correct place and at the right tightness. Overturning or underturning resulted in leaks. The spout has a strong seal, this is a plus. For me, this poses a challenge. I have a hard time opening the spout after it is pushed on all the way. I own a similar product that looks identical, the gasket is much wider, stays in the lid, and the spout is easier to open and close. For these reasons, I rate this product a 4 star.

Great, with one issue
First, these are made for standard wide-mouth canning jars, like Ball or Mason. It’s great to reuse glass jars from products you buy at the grocery store, but they’re not size-standardized and may not work with these, or any other Mason or Ball canning jar lids.As to these lids with pouring spouts and handles, what a great idea to add to the usefulness of canning jars you already own! I ran them through a normal dishwasher cycle before using them with no apparent damage; they fit just fine, with no leakage. The silicone gaskets come out easily, they might get lost if you’re not aware. My only problem with these lids are that both of them have pop-top spouts that are extremely hard to pry open. I hope that becomes easier with time.
