Ascentra Softside Luggage, 2-Piece Set (Duffel/19 inch Carry-on), Slate

My fiancé and I both got a set of the Samsonite Ascentra Softside Luggage in Slate, and we couldn’t be happier! The duffel and 19-inch carry-on are the perfect combo for weekend trips and longer travel. The material feels durable but lightweight, and the softside design makes it easy to fit into tight spaces. The color is sleek and modern, and the wheels glide smoothly through airports. We both love having matching luggage that looks great and performs well. Highly recommend if you want quality and style for your travels!

Build quality is still the best in class. Had a similar set from 15 years ago finally broke down. Tried to opt for a less expensive set and failed miserably. Had to go back to Samsonite soft luggage set. Great material, sturdy, and light weight. Only cons is the less than appealing appearance to some.

My only complaint is that I can't find more of this color.

Most loved that this little guy easily slipped under the seat in front of me on a Hawaiian Air flight. Amazingly spacious with several pockets and compartments for iPad, papers, and small items (cords, chargers, medications, etc.) Would rate five stars except the handle is wonky. Doesn’t always easily pull up, and once up requires some jiggling to collapse again. Not important, but swivel wheels would have been a plus. To Amazon: I purchased and cancelled this item when I received message that it was out of stock. I worried that it wouldn’t arrive on time. - Then I saw the same item listed again as “one left.” I re-ordered and it arrived in a few days. There’s nowhere on the Amazon website to request this kind of refund ($50 difference in price).

I like how light it is. The wheels and handle work well. It is a little smaller than my previous luggage but has pleanty of room for a week trip.

Duffle too big to sit on top of roller. When putting tiller on a larger bag, the attachment sleeve broke. Cheap material and far less than I expected from Samsonite.

My last Samsonite bag lasted me 25+ years, much of that as a road warrior. It was ratty, but it endured...until the wheels fell off (literally). I decided to stick with the brand that served me well and am very pleased with this purchase. Samsonite is still making quality and I believe a good value for the price. "You receive what you pay for." The bag arrived on a timely basis, it great shape, in original packaging, i.e. no refurb. It was just as advertised. I highly recommend the product and the seller.

I bought this for the size and durability but have found I like the removable pouches more than I thought I would. It makes it easy to unpack and tuck the suitcase away at your destination and keep all small things contained.

Best carry on ! wheels are a really fast and suitcase is well made

I have one the same and tried to find another one and Amazon gave the perfect price and the baggage so very light and sturdy . Happy
