Great value and works perfectly

I was delighted to get a carbonated not made by soda stream as a gift. I needed extra bottles so I bought these. No problem, obviously they fit and work. My only reservation is how long the bottles las. The one which came with the machine has 2024 on the bottle. So about 2 years. These ones have an expiration of July 2023, so I get 18 months use at best. Whilst I support the idea of the expiration date (assuming it’s based on health reasons), I’m a bit upset I bought these and will have to replace them quite soon. Since I have one which lasts a year longer I feel a bit short changed. I will still support Drinks Mate, but please put some effort into letting me know the lifespan of the bottles before I buy them. I understand stock rotation but.. as I say, it feels like I got the end of an old batch and the next person gets a better value deal with a longer best before date. That said, Drinks Mate are helping to save the planet, and I love my machine.

Got these as the replacement bottles for the MySoda brand of carbonator were out of stock. Fits the MySoda "Woody" carbonator perfectly, as they have the same type of top (different to Sodastream). Expiry date on the bottles was around 2 and a half years (after which they are no longer guaranteed safe for use with a carbonator, but can still be used as regular water bottles).

Overall the system is great. But there are a few kinks with the bottles.. The bottles are good but if you drop them there is a very very high chance you will break the black lower piece base, which even though is removable, is not for sale separately as a replacement part.. This is extremely fragile plastic for a bottle that holds 1 litter and it will just shatter as it hits the floor.. This will inevitably prompt you to buy another bottle as the top screw system for this machine is proprietary and the bottles need to be theirs to work with the soda machine fittings.. I used to have their direct competitors system for years prior to changing and even though they had the same black lower piece it never shattered.. I have this system now for almost two years now, and I have had to buy several bottles due to how brittle the base plastic and the lower internal fitting are and the lack of replacement parts.. If it falls, even a minor fall, there is an extremely high chance it will break the fittings and internal attachments for sure.. To add insult to injury, 3 months ago this product (2 replacement, 1 Litter bottles) was £16, now is how much? £28???Hurray for capitalism!I was just now, about to buy some yet again because of the above, and noticed this price increase… Ridiculous..At least it’s still the “same price” in their website store which with paid shipping comes to… drumroll… £23. Tada!Moral of the story..Either choose a different system, or consider using their bottle to fizz only, and then buying other similar, but better priced and quality fizzy drink bottles out there, to port to and hold the liquids, while you put theirs safely in a bubble box, so the bottle does not break..Comic but a fair assessment and only option..

Glad we bought extra, as it means you can always have a bottle fizzed and another cooling.If I had to criticise anything, it would be that the bottles would be better made out of glass, so they don't have the need for an expiry date - and you know, less plastic.

Very pleased with these bottles. They have the same bayonet caps as the Levivo bottles so they fit my Levivo sparkling water maker perfectly. And very importantly they do not leak. Not cheap but good quality overall

Bought to use with my sodastream terra but as they have 'bobbles' on the neck part they don't screw in properly and if they do go in are very difficult to remove ; if you've bought these I would suggest using the 1litre bottle supplied with the sodastream & then decant your fizzy water / drink into the bottles. If you want a 500ml bottle , buy the one that's got the carry strap on the lid as this fits & is also made by sodastream

Not sure if anyone has that one, I got it and for the life of me could not find any that mentioned this.
