Articulate A3 Single Gallery

Love the ease of displaying my kids artwork and storing my faves. Great quality, easy to hang and use. Would but many more if I had enough wall space!

They are a good way to display kids art but the quality isn't great considering the price. The position of the hole for hanging is often difficult to mark inside with a pencil to locate the nail depending on how you hang them. A paper template would be useful. I've bought several and some don't hang level with the single anchor point and I've had to bodge it to get them straight (top tip: dead battery in the corner works well). I've had some warping in a couple.Also the choice of dimensions isn't great and it makes it difficult to create a nice layout when you have several frames because they have made the lengths exactly twice the widths, which leaves no room to leave a gap between frames on the wall and have them line up nicely. E.g., If you want 3 frames with one A3 in portrait and another two A4 frames in landscape next to it one on top of the other, you can't leave a gap between the two A4 landscape frames and have everything line up because the height of the two A4's exactly equals the height of the portrait A3 frame. They should have made the length longer than twice the width. Same if you have the frame that holds 3 pictures. If you want one in portrait and another two in landscape next to it one of top of the other. you can't because you'd have to put the two landscape ones together with no gap in between because the height of the portrait one exactly equals the height of the two landscape ones and it looks wrong.Little things like this make the product annoying and overpriced. Not found a better alternative though and once you get them up and sorted, the art looks good and is easy to change so it's 3 stars.
