Bulky, not windproof and high waist makes them uncomfortable and hard to use as active wear.
I wanted to like these, I really did but the cons outweigh the pros.All the other reviews that say they run small are 100% correct. I ordered a size bigger than I thought I should and they're still pretty tight. Speaking of fit these are high waisted pants, meaning that the crotch is very low. The only way to get any sort of freedom of movement is to pull them up grandpa style up to your belly button. If you don't you can barely get a full stride, let alone hike up a hill.The fleece lining is very soft and comfortable but because the liner isn't welded to the outside fabric it makes the pants feel bulky, more like insulated ski pants.They are NOT wind proof, granted I tested these on a day a very cold day, the air temp was -8F and a windchill in -20s but I had better luck with my L.L. Bean hiking pants and a good pair of long underwear.

Good set of winter pants
Love these pants, im able to ride a motorcycle in low 40s. A bit on the small side, i’ll be going one size larger

Excellent fit
Fit is good,probably room to wear long underwear when it gets real cold...update; used them on a winter camping trip...very warm, also wore thermal long johns under as a base layer...fit very good, comfortable. Zippers on pockets and belt clip broke, but not a big deal still worth the price...

Weirdly sized
Waist size is correct, but the rest of the pants don't match the waist size. I can barely get my thighs into these and we won't go into detail about the crotch room... they are warm but at the cost of being really uncomfortable.

Their sizes seem to run small (short).
These thermal pants are awesome but they seem to run on the small side. The waist is okay because they have both elastic and a belt. But I'm 6'1" and the XL I ordered are about 2" short. I've returned that pair and have now ordered the XXL because, as I said, they are really good.

I’ve been looking for snow pants for a while now, and these were by far the best I’ve found.Lots of pocket space, and warm!I wear long johns under them still but on a semi- cold day theres no need to.I live where it gets to -50 so I need a little extra protection.
