In my old Ranger I have this between my main battery and two LiFePo batteries (20Ah each) wired in parallel. I have higher power ham radios that I run with my truck off (due to engine noise) and now have no fear of draining my main battery and getting stranded (or at least bothered to get the jump kit out.) Installation is straight forward, and operation is set and forget. Now my dashcam can run 24/7 too. I don't have to worry that I forgot to turn the radios off.If you use a good LiFePo battery with built-in BMS, you won't have any problems using this. This makes it so simple. This would be great for any camping situation or if you need to run a lightbar/flasher for an extended time.

I fitted this Isolator to a 35 ft Bruno Commercial Fishing Boat with a Cat Marine Engine with 2 4D Batteries for the Engine, and a 4D House Battery! I installed the Isolator on Sunday the 24th February 2025, and it worked Perfectly! The Boat Owner went Fishing on Monday, and called me up when He returned in the evening and said that the Voltmeter on the Isolator went off when he was pulling in his Lobster Pots with the hydraulic winch, but was still able to pull all of the pots! He thought that the Isolator failed! He didn't check the House Voltmeter on the Panel, just the Engine Voltage on the Instrument Panel! I think checked the Isolator after starting the Engine, and it worked Perfectly, despite fact that the Voltmeter wasn't lighting up, but the single LED light showing that the Isolator was connecting with the Engine Battery and Still Charging the House Battery, because it was Fully Charged when I checked it!

Good product and easy to install. The instructions are China, so just be prepared for some trial and error

The instructions that came with were vague and misleading. I tried for days to contact someone at night to make more clear the wiring. I was not able to talk to anyone about it. So I went ahead and wired it up. When I came to the Amazon site on this isolator I found much more detailed instructions there. It would not cut off the voltage at 13.3 volts on the house battery. The power switch did nothing either. I cannot trust this device to not overcharge my coach battery as my multi meter clearly show it going past 14.7 volts. As stated the device power switch does nothing in regards to coach battery voltage. It's too late for a return, so I will look for another device not from nilight

Recently installed for a dual battery setup on my honda sxs. Easy to install
