SmallRig 67mm Magnetic VND Phone Filter, ND2-ND32, with Filter Ring

Great accessory

Me encanta este filtro, sobre todo porque tiene el aro magnético, permitiendo retirarlo y colocarlo rápidamente. Es genial usarlo con el iPhone y el case de Smallrig, sobre todo para controlar la luz a la hora de grabar video.

This filter works great! It does everything what a VND filter would do. But DO NOT BUY IT! I bought it thinking I could get a black mist later. Well, it turns out Smallrig does NOT offer the magnetic version to go w/ its 67mm family. Not a good choice. I even got it in writing that as of Sept 2026, they don't offer the black mist magnetic filter as an individual part.

Love the ability to magnetically attach on the fly, especially in dynamic lighting situations. I wish they made something like this for a full size matte box!

It's amazing how far we've come. Where we've now developed rigs like this filter combined with the Small Rig cage. I'm in love with the functionality and portability. Cells phones aren't as great as SLR's, but they are deceptively close and with the help of filters, even closer. Instead of taking my SLR, I'm now taking much smaller items to still achieve great looking content. Add in the fact this filter changes F Stops in just a small twist. Bravo! Get yourself a Small Rig and a filter. You won't look back.

The filter works as intended. No issues or problems with video quality. Highly recommended!

I love this filter because it only takes a few seconds to mount and remove, and I love the clarity and image quality. ND filters can make a huge difference to photographers who want to take their photos and videos to the next level because they expand your creative control whenever lighting conditions are less than ideal. For example, photographers know that if you want to shoot with a blurred background, you need a wider lens opening, but that also brings in more light. Without a filter, this isn't always possible when the sun is too bright, even if you set a low ISO and raise the shutter. Another scenario is when you want to smooth out the motion of water by slowing down the shutter. Once again, this brings in a lot more light, so the ND filter reduces the light, making it much easier to capture the image you want. This filter is easy to use. You keep the magnetic ring on your lens all the time, then just pop it on when you need it. It has a 5 stop range from ND2 to ND32 with perfect optical clarity and color and unlike some variable ND filters this one doesn't have issues with an X pattern in any position. It comes in two sizes. If you don't have many lenses, be sure to choose the size that fits your lens. If you have a lot of lens sizes, I suggest you get the largest size so that you can use adapters to reduce it to fit them too. Filters can be larger than your lens without issues but you can't put a smaller filter on a large lens or it will cut off the edges, so my advice is to get the larger size.

I wanted to move this filter to a different lens. The part that attaches to the lens first got stuck so I figured, I’d put the magnetic on top to help me twist it open. The lens element came apart! You can screw it back together but its misalign to where it doesn’t work well anymore.. cheap. Got what I paid for I guess. My first and last time buying magnetic lens filters.

Outstanding!
