Been through a bunch of pre-workouts over the years, and Gorilla Mind Base hits the sweet spot. Gives me solid energy, focus, and endurance without all the overloaded stims or that cracked-out feeling some other brands bring. It kicks in smooth and keeps me locked in for the full workout — whether it’s lifting, cardio, or PT-style circuits. No crash afterward, and no weird tingles or stomach issues. Just clean, steady drive. I also like that it’s more of a “build-your-stack” formula. I can add pump or stim products if I want, but this is a solid base on its own. Taste is fine — nothing amazing, but I’m not sipping it for flavor. If you want a reliable, no-nonsense pre-workout that performs without frying your system, this is the one. Will be staying in the rotation.

So far, the only thing wrong with the Gorilla Mode Base, was the shipping delay. The product tastes excellent, best tasting preworkout I've had by far. The "Bombsicle" flavor somehow tastes like bubble gum, cotton candy, and a red, white, and blue bomb pop all in one. The energy provided with one scoop is clean with no crash, also with no beta alanine tingling. It gives a good workout and the extra focus provided really helps for adding extra sets or increasing workout intensity. I havent gotten any crazy pumps as avertised: "swelling pumps and ripped vascularity." The only product that really gave me crazy pumps was NO-xplode back in the day. The value for money was decent, even at the discounted price of $30 it is still more expensive per serving than other preworkouts that provide similar results. When mixing you will want to add more water than suggest because it is pretty strong tasting (not bad just overwhelming). Overall it's pretty good, and if the price isn't a barrier, I would suggest it. I couldn't believe how good it tastes without having sugar in it.

I drive wife insane and try new pre-workout powders occasionally. We now have a new favorite brand. We've had a couple other flavors and they taste great. We have not gotten the pro grade powder, mainly because this works well enough for us. The powder does mix well, but it does leave behind what I'd imagine is anti-caking powder with bitterent added to it. You learn to avoid the last swig of your drink as a result, no biggy, makes cleanup easier when rinsing out your shaker cup. I like the focus and mood supplements added to this, really does help get your workout going in a positive direction and carries throughout the day. My wife even commented on how her mood has improved, most notably with stress related to her work. My wife and I also have food sensitivities and this brand hasn't caused any digestive issues for us. We've had a couple brands that caused problems in that department, gas and bloated feeling. This is probably one of the most cleanest feeling pre-workouts I've had in awhile. I'd say give it a try.

Tastes just like the flavor. Can be pretty sweet but that is my taste. Works well and didn't make me real jittery.

Great pre workout. I’ve used a lot of different kinds throughout the years and this stuff is good. Tastes great and gives a great pump. No acid reflux or negative things to say about it. I only ever took half a serving since it’s high stimulant and that was plenty.

As much I wanted to like this pre-workout, I found myself disliking it so much despite the high expectations I was brought to by the reviews. Here is my honest and thorough review: Taste: 8/10 Unmistakably one of the better tasting pre-workouts I’ve bought so far. It has a sweet taste and does not leave any aftertaste. Energy: 2/10 While it initially gives you a small boost in energy, it very quickly decreases and even goes further into depleting yourself from all your energy levels. Much more worse than the crash you’d get from a high caffeine energy drink. Stims: 0/10 Unfortunately, this pre-workout fails to deliver any of the adversities stims and rather gives off the worst side effects I’ve ever experienced in any product thus far. First of all, it gave me and my brother a terrible case of fatigue and tiredness. In addition, it also gave us slight jitters that were rather distracting. There was virtually no focus whatsoever after taking this product. I was also sweating profusely, almost as if I had been inside the sauna even thought I was only 20 minutes into my workout. We also felt really lethargic, and it got to the point where we actually WANTED to leave the gym early which is unlike us whatsoever. We also felt like we were short of breath while working out and even started feeling dizzy after really pushing ourselves on leg day. We also felt severely weakened overall, and all of our lifts were down in both weight and reps. Keep in mind that this is all while only taking one serving of the pre-workour, while we’ve taking double the dosage of other products and have had no problem whatsoever. Unfortunately, I would NOT recommend this product at all whatsoever. If you want to workout while feeling like you have a server fever that is about to make you pass out, then by all means buy this product. Otherwise, I’d consider looking elsewhere. I would recommend Alpha Lion’s Superhuman Core Pre-Workout. It is similarly priced and gives off a significantly better performance while still using quality ingredients.

I love the flavor of this. It does not give me the tingles. I just got the cherry flavor and I look forward to trying it.

Tastes too artificial, the pump was good but the overall flavor was just not my cup of tea

The gummy bear flavour is great. Not the most stimulating preworkout if that's what you prefer I wouldn't recommend this. It gives me enough of a boost to look forward to my session without any side effects I'd get from some of the more stimulating products.

I'm surprised how good this pre workout is in comparison to the nitric and original PW. The flavour although not prefect tastes nice. Like all Gorrila Mode products it's very well dosed. I get a good pump using this product, but if you want an even better pump go for the original or nitric version, or add Glycerol along with it.

Derek from MPMD has crafted a great pre workout. It has long lasting energy, no crash and not over the top with caffeine per scoop. The dosages are really good too.

I keep buying it because it’s good and very tasty But what frustrates me about this is: *Comes in a Huge container buts it’s always only about 60% full so it’s a total waste of plastic, just make the jar smaller. * because the container is to big yet the opening diameter is very small- it makes it fkn annoying to dig and fish for the scoop *the opening is very narrow and has a very sharp inner lip around the opening- making is painful to put your hand in, I mean really sharp and scratchy! * you can empty 2 of them into 1 container and there is still room to fill that’s how big the container is, just make it half size and wider opening * Derrick from moreplatesmoredates must have child sized hands if he had anything to do with the container design As for ingredients and flavor - 100% the best. Just the size and razor sharp opening that will cut you every time you try to dig up the spoon! Change that asap pls
