I am in my seventies and have long grey hair to my waist. I have tried a variety of different shampoos lately and none of them have been satisfactory. I decided to try the Theorie shampoo, and it really work for me. Firstly when I pump the shampoo into my palm it comes out a lovely creamy consistency that I apply directly to my scalp. It doesn't foam up too much, causing suds everywhere. After rinsing off and drying my hair, the hair is left soft and pretty, not stringy or dry as I have experienced with other products. And then the bonus is the lovely soft scent, not overpowering, not synthetic smelling. I am so pleased that I have purchased a couple more Theorie products. Thank you. A++++

The lovely fragrance would have been sufficient reason for me to keep using this product, but the quality is superior to the salon brands I've used for decades. Joico, K-pak, and L'Anza have been my go-to shampoos for their excellent hydration and repairing of damage. Theorie is every bit as effective. It lathers beautifully and rinses out easily, leaving my hair clean but not stripped of moisture. I have oily hair and used to have to lather twice. This shampoo cleanses with one application, yet it doesn't dry out my hair like the formulas that are designed for oily hair. The scent is reminiscent of Aveda products, but more refined and soft. I've used it for a few months and I absolutely love it.

Good quality shampoo and love the smell. I even use it as body wash I like it so much!

Smells really nice (but not too strong or overly chemical), and actually cleans my fine hair without weighing it down.

I really like this product

The reviews all sounded so great for this product, but bottom line the third ingredient (Sodium Laureth Sulfate) is one of the most harmful ingredients for a shampoo. It strips your hair and scalp of it's natural oils. That's what happened in my case and after a few washings I noticed my scalp getting dryer and breaking out. The smell is good and the pump is a nice touch, but the shampoo is extremely sudsy and drying. So it's in the garbage.
