Great 5G budget phone for T-Mobile and for flashing /e/OS.
Amazing phone for $209 - big bright crisp screen, good looking phone, and well supported under /e/OS. Camera shows where savings were made, but process is plenty fast while battery is huge. Getting two days per charge. 5G coverage on T-Mobile is great!

I switched from an iPhone 15 Pro Max. Here's how it's going.
As a lifelong Apple user, aside from one HTC Evo 4G phone years ago (We won't talk about how laggy and terrible that thing was and why it scared me away from Android altogether until now), this is the first phone I've had that wasn't an iPhone since the 3GS came out. I never thought I'd switch. This phone packs in everything you need and leaves out everything you don't to give you a very reasonable price; even during the beta phase in the USA. Long story short, I switched because the carrier I bought my iPhone 15 Pro Max with cancelled my phone plan and 2 year financing on the phone when I dropped their Internet service for another carrier. Spectrum. No surprise there. So, since iPhones in the USA now are ESIM only, unlike the UK and Europe, unless I paid the phone off in full, I essentially had a really nice titanium WiFi brick as it was carrier locked and they (Spectrum) wouldn't give me cellular service unless I had their Internet service. That pissed me off. So, I wasn't going to give Spectrum another dime. I sold the iPhone at a Walmart kiosk and used some of that cash to buy the CMF Nothing Phone 1 in full here on Amazon. Aside from having to learn how to operate anything other than Apple's iOS, the setup was very easy. Nothing OS is spectacular and I love the esthetics. CMF Nothing Phone 1 doesn't have all of those flashy lights and haptics on the back which I like. Clean and simple. Like the days of old, us people born before the year 2000 know what it's like to be able to change the color of your phone by buying a different color "shell" if you will. They're bringing that back along with other accessories like a kick stand, lanyard, card holder, multiple different color back cases to swap out with 4 real and functional screws and one knob screw. I also have the CMF by Nothing Watch Pro 2, the fast charger CMF by Nothing as pictured and I can get 12 hours of high usage out of the battery and if I turn the phone off I can have it from dead to 100% in 1 hour, which is wild. The only thing I don't like is that you can't remove the battery yourself without voiding any type of warranty or breaking the rules, lol. Hopefully they'll resolve this with the CMF by Nothing Phone 2 and make the battery another accessory you can buy directly from Nothing if need be. In the USA do NOT use Version at all as they have the least amount of bands supported for cellular service. AT&T is second worst. Anyone else that doesn't use either of those two company's towers work perfectly fine. Like T-Mobile as I can get 5G and 4G LTE nearly everywhere. I was concerned about if this phone would be able to hold up to the strenuous use I put my phones through as I don't have a laptop and my phone is how I do absolutely everything. I have anywhere from 15+ apps constantly running in the background and the processor works just fine. Hardly noticeable from the iPhone 15 Pro Max although I know the iPhone's processor is better on paper. Expandable storage to add up to 2TB of storage via micro SD card where the sim tray is. 8GB of RAM and you can adjust a RAM Booster of phone storage between 2-8 more GBs of RAM totalling up to 16GB. So, you have a Super AMOLED full HD screen, a strong processor, a bigger 5000 mAh battery that's bigger than the 15 Pro Max, RAM, storage, etc. This phone can do everything my iphone 15 Pro Max could do aside from using your phone as a form of payment (NFC) which you can buy a smart watch that has the capability and pair via Bluetooth to bypass that minor drawback. If nothing else, I hope Nothing keeps their flagship Nothing Phone and the CMF by Nothing Phones going forward even if they have to cut the (2a) and (2a+) cheaper version of the Nothing Phone 2 out of their lineup. They've really got something going here. I can't wait to see what it turns into as I'm more of a fan of the CMF Phone than the Nothing Phone 2 flagship. Hopefully soon all accessories and case colors will become readily available in the USA after the beta phase this year and in December 2024 we'll have the new Android 15 update (Nothing OS 3) All of that to say this... If you're used to iPhone 15 Pro Max or Samsung Galaxy S20-whatever and are worried this phone might not have the hardware or software to do all of the tasks your previous flagship phone could do, don't. It does everything aside from NFC and have the fancy cameras and runs noticeably just as well and as smoothly and I use a lot of processing power, RAM and storage so take it from me. If you don't believe me, download the DevCheck app or the like on your old device and on this one and you'll find the things that matter are a lot closer than you think. Like screen, battery, fast charging, processor, RAM, storage, etc. Buy the device(s). You won't regret it.

Great value phone if you don't need NFC.
This phone is fast clean easy to use easy to transfer to. I hooked up the cable with my old phone and I just worked. I was transferring from a 5-year-old OnePlus phone that had a failing battery and charging port. I'm pleased with the overall performance and sound quality of this device. It does only have one main speaker, but I use it a headset most of the time. The one speaker is adequately loud. I do use NFC for some things, so I got to watch that had NFC and paired it with the phone. This is an easy workaround to the NFC limitation. The call quality is is good but the Bluetooth range is not as good as my old phone was. The interface is clean and simple. I can easily get two days out of one charge on the battery using it about 6 hours a day. This phone has excellent performance for the price imo. The pictures seem to be okay for me as well, but I am very color blind, so I can't guarantee that the color matching is perfect since my color matching is terrible with or without a phone, lol. Other phones like my son's pixel take better night pictures than this phone does.

It's fine, working phone
I like this phone, works well. Bought it to serve as a music player, that was on me, the speaker is weak. I can't connect my headset it's a Sony H9 which was most disappointing. Games lag and by games I mean Genshin Impact and Wuwa, again it's not it's intended purpose but if you were curious if they ran no they don't. The screen looks nice I am currently using this as my e-reader and it works well for that. The software for music I was disappointed that it didn't come with a player already. As for camera it works fine not something to rave about either way I won't buy again from this brand but only cause of the headset situation.

Amazing Quality!
Bought this when my Pixel 6a kept running out of storage room. This is a second phone, as my main phone is a One Plus Open folding phone. This phone compares very favorably to the Pixel, and my only gripe is the lack of updates. Just one more security update that will be good till next year, I think. When I get nervous about that fact and depending on the prices, I may opt for a higher end Nothing phone or move back to a Pixel 9a with at least 256 gbs of storage.Only complaint about the phone itself is the awkward position of the volume keys. It is hard to access and use the volume keys with one hand. Otherwise, this is a phone that is as solid as the One Pluses and Galaxys and Google Pixels I have used over the last decade. I typically have one flagship phone and a second midrange phone ...just in case. Amazing quality for the price.

No NFC, but otherwise magnificent
My dream phone. Midrange specs at a great price with an awesome ecosystem that easily rivals Apple in usability and design. Every product from Nothing/CMF integrates seamlessly with each other. This is the Android phone for Apple expats.

Beware of its haptic feedback
This phone is pretty solid for a low-mid range phone. It can do all the basic tasks and has no problem multitasking. My only issue with this phone is its haptic feedback. Most days it can work a little too well with it always turning on with a slight touch and reading faces instantly. Then theres other days where touchscreen sometimes doesnt like to work, tapping the locked screen likes to be unresponsive, and for some reason do some magic phantom touching as if someone was actually going through my phone. There's also the problem with mobile data in specific areas but its unlikely to happen in my area.
