Unexpectedly nice.
This is really nice. I was quite surprised. The black is shiny and looks like enamel, and the silver-toned area has a nice black wash in the crevices that really enhances the details. I put it on my bedroom wall and even though it is small and not flashy at all, it makes me happy every time I look at it.

When I ordered this crucifix as a gift for someone who came from a Christian faith tradition that didn't typically use or endorse crucifixes, I wasn't sure how it would be received. However, they expressed a newfound desire to have one, and this crucifix has proven to be a perfect choice for their first. It's a thoughtful and meaningful gift for anyone exploring or deepening their faith.As crucifixes go, this one has fine workmanship. The details on the corpus are excellent, and the cross is beautiful. The black enamel finish coordinates well with many décor options.This modest-sized crucifix does not dominate the wall. It works well in a small room like a bedroom or office. Overall, it is a beautiful piece you or someone will enjoy for a long time. Whether you buy it for yourself or as a gift, I am confident this crucifix will be appreciated.I would also add that crucifixes are not just for Catholics. This is an ideal wall crucifix. I grew up with one in the home and it feels right to display a crucifix as a reminder of my Catholic faith. I reviewed many offered online before settling on this one. Great size (does not overly dominate my bedroom wall), nice details and very easy to hang with just a tiny nail. It's substantial though, and has some heft to it. Now more than ever, I reflect on Christ's suffering which helps put my own issues into perspective. A beautiful way for me to remember to keep Him in my life at all times. So pleased. Recommended - yes.

Perfect reminder of my daily faith
I have this crucifix as a daily reminder of my faith and prayers to Jesus. I put it beside my Traditional Catholic wall calendar as I learn daily more about the catholic faith. I have this in my office and when I am stressed or overwhelmed, it reminds me to put my faith & trust in the Lord. I think this is a very nicely made piece with beautiful details and does not look "cheap". I appreciate the opportunity to review this item and am proud to have it hang on my wall.
