This bowl doesn't sing the way it's supposed to. The bottom maybe defected because the bowl doesn't sit properly on the ring. Even the striker seems crooked. I tried adjusting it several times, but nothing helped the matter. I know what their supposed to sound like because I do sound healing as a profession. I own other kinds of crystal bowls and I've never had a problem with any of them before. I gave the company my invoice number, and supposedly their going to take care of this issue. After emails back and forth I've become annoyed. Let's hope they are telling the truth, and feel badly about their product being a problem. I'd say do not use them since this has become a hassle. What a shame.

Love the color, use it for chanting and prayers. Not the best for a gong sound, however that isn't the intent of a singing bowl, which it does beautifully and resoundedly
