Actual size and test results
So these are probably measured in metric because they are a hair under 10AWG as they come in at ~5-5.1mm which is just a hair short of a true 10AWG. I measured them in several places and this seems to be consistent.Overall, the wire is soft and bendable, the connectors seem to be of fine quality and will probably hold up well.I pushed amperage through them and didn't find any strange hot spots and even pushed the wire beyond 10 AWG standards and for the 5 minutes I did that I didn't see any strange heating. They are a pretty safe bet to put into production.A few things I did before putting them in production:1. I coated the wire with 303 protectant to keep the sun from breaking it down in the places that it is exposed.2. I ran it through split wire loom tubing to protect the wire from sharp edges etc. I also treated the tubing to keep it from getting all crumbly.3. I used a little dielectric grease around the connectors to keep them water tight.Overall I expect these to be trouble free for years and years and at this price, this is an overall buy.

When you need something this big double.Check that everything you have set up is going to work with it because that's a lot a wire.

Deceptive!!This is not a singular tandem cable like an automotive jumper cable is often constructed!IT IS TWO COMPLETELY SEPARATE CABLES~ ONE RED AND ONE BLACK...I bought the 50 foot length and it will be a tangle to run it out to panels AND bring it in routinely when traveling...This is not as portrayed since it is both pictured AND referred to as a 'cable' ~ not as two cables...
