Smooth, lightweight, and quiet
(Reviewing Akko Dracula) Idk why Amazon says they're frequently returned, because they are pretty much what the product page says. These are the best switches I own (out of around 6 different types I tried so far and a few more if including test switches). I had silent switches before, so what sold me on these was their smoothness. They are the least scratchy switches I've tried yet. At 35g of force they're so lightweight I had to remove some modifications I had in my largest keycaps that were adding some weight; so the switch would come back up with no delay when released. Coming from Kailh Box Silent Browns (65g) I also feel I get less tired typing on these. Noise profile: very quiet, deeper sound (my preference). Smoothness: linear feel, very smooth, minimal stem wobbling, and very light to the touch. Value for money: not the cheapest at $17 / 45 units ($34 for a TKL set), but it delivers, so no regrets.

Silent, smooth, solid.
The switch quality is great, they are super silent and the input speed seems great! They are lubed, at least mine were slightly lubed from factory. I've seen other say theirs weren't lubed. If you are one to customize your stuff, you may want to check if yours are lubed....if you care for that lol.. I lubed mine, I'd say use whatever lube you'd like to use for them. I would say these are definitely easy to install, but that may be up to what board you are using. I can't imagine it's difficult for most though. Overall these switches are amazing, they are quiet and seem super sturdy. The posts don't have an insane amount of wiggle. The value was absolutely great too! I will have to try more from this company when I get a chance!

These Switches are being SLEPT on!!!
Wasn’t really expecting to be great given that I paid like 15 bucks for 90 switches which is a bargain really. But the quality and feel blowed me away. They are a bit on the clackier side, but if you have a decently dampened keyboard and prefer a creamy switch with a nice thock at the bottom, almost like marbly sound, give these a try. I have them on my Aula F99 and they just hit the right spot. The keycaps do get a bit tight while putting them on the switch, but those are my keycaps and not Akko’s fault. Really east to install and the pins are very durable. Compared to the Graywood V3, these are much more stronger. The switches are also really smooth and very evenly lubed. Like each switch is consistently lubed which tends to result in a smooth and even typing experience. The RGB gets a bit subdued due to there not being a diffuser or it not having a transparent top, but they don’t bother me. Don’t know why they are being returned or Amazon saying there are better products than this. They are also not that clacky as some reviewers have called them out. Honestly, for the price, this thing hits! I get that it is up to your preference. What may be the best for me might be the worst for you. Even so, I urge you to try these if you are thinking of getting a medium-lightweight switch with the sound profile being a bit creamy and thocky while also having a bit of clack. It’s almost the perfect harmony for me. Some may call me crazy but I prefer these over the Morandi and Gateron Milky Yellow Pros. Akko really outdid themselves with these. Will probably buy the rosewood and botany switch when I build a new board next month. Thanks for reading such a long review. Peace!

LED will display as Pink and a second set will need to be bought if you have a 60% or more keyboard.
these switches are significantly quieter than my pervious switches. very creamy sounding and feeling as well. Do keep in mind the framing of your keyboard as well as what your typing on which can partially affect how your keys can sound. Overall for the price is it pretty good. This set has enough switches for your alphanumeric keys so an additional set will need to be purchased if your keyboard is 60% and above. seems to be meant for 40%. Another thing to keep in mind is that if you plan to use LED features on your keyboard that it will appear pink.

Passes the Diddy test...
This is it this is the switch. That's it. Oh you need more? Fine. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- [FEEL] How does it feel? It feel like making sweet love to the keyboard. The tactility is slightly above average - a nice little bump in the chunk - but the slide down is buttery smooth. I'm talking two slugs in a baby oil waterpark smooth! However, there really isn't a whole lot of resistance, in my opinion. There is a good amount of travel though, so your fingers will have plenty of space to get into it. [APPEARANCE] I mean...they look kinda cute if you associate them with a penguin, but you aren't going to spend a whole lot of time staring at them, are you? "Well, what about transparent keycaps?" No. They do not pass the transparent keycap test. A yellow stem on a white housing doesn't look as cute when you can no longer see the lower housing. Looks less like a bird, and more like bird poo. But again, you aren't going to be staring at the switch. You're not me writing this review... [SOUND] Let me be honest. I brought these because after 'doing' mechanical keyboarding for a year, I didn't believe there was a such thing as silent. Quiet, yes. Silent, no. But I was wrong. These switches are a lot quieter than I could have ever anticipated on both the down press, and the return. It's like some weird form of techno magic... seriously my mind has been blown. I've compared them to another silent switch (Silent Shrimps), and these are by far the better option in my opinion. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- [BOTTOM LINE] If you want a solid mechanical switch that doesn't make much fuss, and practically begs you to spend time touching your keeb, this is the one. There isn't anything else that needs to be said. Bite the bullet, and add this to your cart immediately. Just do it!

I have installed to the main raw of the keyboard, it is realy silent and you can feel the force get the feedback. For me I was expecting a higher force but this also works. BTW, I like the package.

The switches arrived on time and performed as advertised. Extremely creamy and mute for a fraction of the price of other switches that give you a similar sound. The switches are easy to press, almost too much so, but they feel creamy to press which is a weird sensation I havent had before. Dont expect a marbly pop, theyre very muted switches that give a gentle thock. I wish they offered them in other amounts aside from the akward 45pcs.

The Akko V3 Matcha Green Pro Keyboard Switches have been a game-changer in my mechanical keyboard experience, fully deserving a 5-star rating for their performance and unique design. Right off the bat, the Matcha Green theme of these switches is visually striking. The color is vibrant and adds a fun, personalized touch to any keyboard. It’s not just about the aesthetics, though; these switches deliver impressively in terms of functionality. Typing on the Akko V3 Matcha Green switches is a pleasure. They offer a smooth keystroke with just the right amount of tactile feedback. The actuation force is well-balanced, making them suitable for both gaming and typing. The consistency in keystroke feel across the board is commendable and enhances the overall typing experience. One of the standout features of these switches is the dustproof stem. This innovative design significantly reduces the ingress of dust and debris, which can be a common issue affecting the longevity and performance of mechanical switches. It’s a practical feature that ensures the switches remain clean and functional for longer periods. The sound profile of these switches is also worth noting. They produce a satisfying sound that isn’t too loud or clacky, striking a nice balance that is appreciated in both office and home environments. Installation was straightforward, and these switches fit well in standard mechanical keyboards. They are a great choice for anyone looking to customize or upgrade their keyboard with switches that are both high-performing and aesthetically pleasing.
