As soon as these bulbs arrived I couldn't wait to fit them and they worked a treat from the word go. The bulbs were wrapped well and as soon as unpacked they looked great. Fitted straight into the light fitting and when switched on came straight on and when dimmed there was immediate response and the same when the light was switched off there was an immediate loss of light with no residual light showing. When switched on there was no humming from the dimmest to the brightest turning of the switch and the light was immediately on and off with no visible lag either way. Hopefully now I am going to see the benefits of these bulbs when I get my next electric bill as it is cutting my power usage in the living room by 8 as these are the last bulbs in my house to be changed to LED and I have seven fittings all reduced from 80w to 10w.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I have been on a cost reduction program all over the house as far as lighting goes so pretty much everything has swapped over to LED's. Even 5 of the 6 flood lights we have are LED type. That brings us to the last bulb in the household that is LED, the last flood light. I was going to swap it for a purpose built LED flood but decided, as we don't need the brilliant light of one of those, I would buy an LED replacement.This is between 50-60 Watt and is white light so gives off a good light to see in at night. Easy to fit and runs at about less than 8% of the halogen bulb. Perfect. Watch the video

After just a couple of hours of use the bulb went bang.Very disappointing but also because the light output was so much less than the halogen bulb it replaced.I am going back to halogen for this seldom used lamp as I doubt there is an led type that will suffice

Arrived on time. Works very well. Not as bright as I expected. I would certainly recommend this product. No other complaints so far.

really not very bright and not really effective with a dimmer even though says so.

Ideal money saving investment.Dims down just enough for ambient lighting, and a nice bright Ice white light when on full power.These replace 2 x 200 watt incandescent R7S bulbs, so we can now use them more often, and save 90% of the cost of using them.

As with Phillips. .......logistically all excellent but ligh is currently in as a replacement so awaiting user comment

Lasted only 6 months in my floodlight before failing, the light output is dull but adequate to see what you are doing, I have replaced it with an osram bulb, which is much brighter.
