I use these to baby proof all my drawers and dressers. So far has done great at keeping baby out. A little tedious at removing the clip to access drawer.

The product arrived as described, assembled, and with instructions for use. They seem pretty sturdy, and the adhesive works on most surfaces. Surfaces I've tried.*They aren't easy to unlock, so I wouldn't put them in places you'll be opening and closing routinely (toilet, refrigerator, frequently used drawers, etc).

I've gotten these before and they have lasted a very long time. Was happy to see a larger pack offered for a very good price as I needed to replace my older ones. There were no issue applying them to my cabinets as I followed the instructions which are very easy. I have curious animals as well as two legged inquisitive lookers to keep out of my lower cabinets where I keep cleaning supplies and bleach supplies. It's important to clean the area to remove dirt and oils that are on them and then hold the straps for a few minutes. I found not using them for the afternoon also helped. These Baby Locks 8 Pack Child Safety Cabinet Proofing are alright. They will work great for some purposes, mostly with things that can be secured at above the child's height, like a fridge or tall cabinet door. The reason is the way they are adjustable. It is just a slide that doesn't lock at all, so your child could fairly easily slide that piece off which would unlock the lock. Because of this, you need to place it higher than your child can reach or put the adjustable part in a section that is hard to get to. If that's not possible, these are still semi-secure as they would have to slide the adjustment piece completely off for it to unlock, so then it's more of a delayed opening device for the persistent kids.Beyond that one issue, the rest of this is quite good. The actual locking side is easy enough for an adult to do it (takes two hands when not attached to something, but just one once it's attached), but would prove challenging for a younger child.I'm still able to find a use for these, but they aren't quite as universally usable as I'd hoped they would be.

Took literally no time to install and works great at keeping things locked. Just gotta be careful with the tape whenever you do take it off as it can damage some of your things if you’re not careful. Other that that, our kid has yet to figure out what to do to open the drawers so I say it’s a win haha
