I wasn’t sure what to expect, because I've been a big time bourbon guy for the last 6 or 7 years but this tastes LEGIT! Like, close-your-eyes-and-you’re-drinking-a-classic Mule legit. The ginger is perfectly spicy, the lime is just right, and the whole vibe just screams “fancy cocktail” without the buzz. I’ve been sipping this after work, and it feels like a treat—no weird aftertaste, no sugar overload, just a great drink to unwind with that won't have me feeling hungover as I'm typing up emails the next morning. Can't recommend enough. I've already gotten a couple friends hooked. The Margs are delicious as well I must say.

I was excited to get the Free Spirit n.a. Kentucky Mule Cocktail based on the reviews, only to become extremely disappointed quickly. The smell when you open the can is very medicinal. I thought, as long as the taste is there, I could probably get past the smell. The taste is exactly like the smell, medicine. I think this is quite possibly the worst N/A cocktail I have ever tried, and I have tried many. I ordered the 12 pack. I wish I could give them away but I don’t think there could possibly be anyone who likes the taste of medicine. I will stick to the Free AF n.a. cocktails -they are much better than these by far.

As a huge fan of mules, I was excited to try Free Spirits version -- and it absolutely delivered! The flavor's bold and balanced, with just the right amount of ginger, citrus, and oakiness that gives it an authentic bourbon feel. I love how easy they are too. Sometimes I want to just enjoy a mule without all the hassle that goes into prep, and this is as close as I've gotten to the traditional mule flavor without having to deal with the prep. For anyone looking for a na mule alternative that doesn’t skimp on flavor or quality, this one's awesome. Highly recommend!

This mocktail was not for me. It's way, way too sweet, which might be a ridiculous thing to say about a bourbon based mixed drink, but I honestly thought that based on what appeared to be large quantities of acid in the ingredients list I'd be alright. Nevertheless, I'll describe it objectively. There is a very vanilla forward scent to the drink, and while it is low alcohol it definitely tastes like there's more in here than juice and sugar. A slight warmth toward the finish, nowhere near alcoholic levels but present all the same. I didn't find the lemon or various acids to be forward in the flavor, which was predominantly sweet. While the vanilla and faux alcohol flavors distract from the cloying sugar a little, the beverage could easily be mistaken as having been made with a ginger ale mixer instead of the traditional, less-sweet ginger beer. I served this chilled over nugget ice, and enjoyed immediately. The preparation was good, but I highly recommend serving with a lemon or lime wedge garnish to up the acidity even further... Maybe three. I hope this review helps make your decision easier! They're not inexpensive, so hopefully you can be sure to enjoy what you receive. I'm giving this four stars because it's still a good representation of a non-alcoholic mule despite it not meeting my personal taste.

Really blown away by how much this tasted like the real thing but left me with none of the side effects I don't like. Easy to drink out of the can or pour over ice and have a fun beverage with everyone else! Definitely strong bourbon taste which was really cool too

I'll say that Free Spirits just about nailed the taste of this cocktail. It does taste like a kentucky mule. If the label wasn't on there that said non-alcoholic, I'd think it is. Otherwise though, whatever herbal mix they use to mimic the alcohol flavor made me cough a lot each time I sipped this. I was almost thinking I was having an allergic reaction but luckily I wasn't. I might be unique in this reaction to the herbs, but maybe not. Other than that, I found the flavor maybe slightly too sweet. Not bad overall, but not great. I prefer the margarita flavor.

My fiance loves Moscow mules, but has recently been wanting to drink less alcohol as it gives him a headache. We bought this for a holiday party to use as a base for a mule bar, and it was a hit! Highly recommend with a bit of pomegranate or cranberry juice and a sprig of rosemary to look like a tree!

This is the most vile, disgusting thing I've ever tasted in my life. I can't believe they even sell this. Do not buy this trash. It tastes like you're drinking chemicals.
