Nice collection
I ordered this to see what it included, as in the PDF books. I could have downloaded and installed linux for free, but I wanted to see what books I would get. The only let down was I was hoping atleast one would be Ubuntu specific, but all of them are general Linux. No big deal, I am familiar with Linux, but not with Ubuntu on a desktop, which is what I want to learn about, how to make all of my hardware work correctly. I know how to use Linux from the command line, since I am a web developer, but, getting Ubuntu to work correctly with my desktop is different.I am going to buy an Ubuntu specific book, but this collection is great for to learn about Linux in general, I am sure one of the books covers how to use it on a desktop, but I am interested in Ubuntu for desktops. The books included are good. I just thought maybe since this was a disk series for Ubuntu 10.04 it would have atleast one book. This comes with 4 disks, one contains, ubuntu 32bit(for older computers), Ubuntu 64bit(for newer computers), a disk with an intro(16) video about Linux, and a disk with the books about Linux. Here are the books you get on DVD, the appear to be awesome books, the dictionary is over 1700 pages.Bash Guide for beginnersGetting StartedIntroduction to LinuxLinux Administration made easyPocket Linux GuideAdvanced Bash Scripting GuideLinux from ScratchLinux Kernel internalsLinux Module Programming GuideLinux Network administrators guideThe Linux System Administrators GuideLinux DictionaryLinux File System HiearchyLinux on the Road.Just the books you get make it well worth it. I will tackle the books in the future, for now I am ordering a book that directly covers Ubuntu for desktops. Currently I am busy learning Perl, and Apache, in 3 weeks it is PHP and Internet Security, I am working on a degree in Computer Science with a double major in Software engineering and Web Development, so I am covering a vast amount of subject matter. Linux is powerful, but in general nothing like Windows, Ubuntu is like a bridge, but I have used windows for years and know how to do almost everything with it, but I need to learn to do the same things with Ubuntu quickly.Overall this is a great buy in all respects. The disk for installing Ubuntu worked great for me, but you need to know how to make the changes in your bios to make it start from disk and choose a drive to install it on.

Ubantu 10.04
Package includes 4 disk DVD set that includes Ubuntu 10.04 and training videos. It is a pretty complete package for anyone wanting to install Ubuntu Linux. The GUI is much better than previous versions and installation was easy.

Ubuntu 10.04 operatng system discs does not work
The operating system discs were not capable of installing the system. There was not advice available from the seller. Obviously they had not tested the product. It was money totally wasted.

Best OS on the market
I had a little trouble getting Ubuntu to work because it doesn't seem to like my video card. That's not really Canonical's fault. ATI doesn't support it. I finally got it installed. This thing runs circles around Microsoft. With Vista, unless I upgrade my memory, I can basically run about 2 or 3 programs without it crashing on me. With Ubuntu, I can run about 30 programs and it still runs like I just logged in. That's with only 1 gig of memory. I'm never using Windows again.
