CUZEC 3.9ft / 1.2m Adapter Plug Socket with Eyelet Terminal (CU10181B)

I ordered this to install on my Yamaha Majesty maxi-scooter. I wired it directly to the battery in the back of my bike. I know others have said the eyelets were too small, but they worked perfectly with the smaller battery my bike uses. I drilled a hole going from the battery area through my seat tub into the storage area under my seat. I had to cut the 2 wires, feed them through the hole, then use crimp connectors to splice them back together. The fuse holder sits right behind the battery. I keep it coiled up with a velcro cable strap in the storage area to charge my phone or run other accessories. I tested it with a small air compressor I keep in my bike and it worked fine with no issues. It seems well made and study. Time will tell how well it holds up.The hardest part of installation was removing all the plastic body panels to access the battery area and then put everything back together.

So, I needed a socket like this to plug in some warning lights into that works off a switch and doesn't take up my accessory outlet in the car. Ya know, basically dash mounted warning lights for my volunteer gig, taking up 1 of only 2 cigarette plugs in the car. So, now the new set up is a wire from the battery to a switch to this outlet which is really cool because it already has an inline fuse, I ran under the dash out of the way and my dash lights plug into this. I just leave that switch already in on position. I didn't cut the wire because of warranty on the dash lights. Either way, very happy with the quality and copper wire and 2 spare fuses if ever needed. I'm actually going to buy 2 more of these and stick 1 in the trunk and another in the back seat area under a console.

I like the over all build quality. the plug depth is a bip shallow compared to the other one I bought about 3/8's of an inch. makes contact a pain with some of the devices used in it.

I bought this to use in my generation three Prius. I hooked this up to my battery terminals in the rear of my car, and I ran the cable underneath the trim of the doors, and ultimately into my passenger side dash.I tested it with a 12 V device, and it works perfectly. My intention is to use this as an uninterrupted power source for a standby dash cam.Amazing product! The 13.1 foot was absolutely perfect length. I don’t have any extra cable, and if it was any shorter, it wouldn’t have reached my dash.

So I bought these because I needed to utilize a portable power 12VDC source ( for an extended period of time) without killing my car battery or having to start and run my car every so often.So after a little electrical research, math, and a little science- I found my electrical source but needed a way to connect to it.I searched and found these. It was easy to connect directly to the battery ( using M6 bolts, nuts and washers).It provides a consistent power similar to most vehicle power ports but allows easy swapping to other power sources ( if needed).Of course, if you want to add them to your vehicle- it allows you to do that easily since the wires have a generous amount of length.

I specifically sought out a socket plug adapter with small ring terminals because I wanted to use it with a small 12-volt, 18-amp battery. The standard ring terminals on most socket plug adapters are generally much larger because they are made to be attached to car batteries which have large terminals. Large ring terminals wouldn't have worked in my application but the small terminals on this unit worked perfectly. A fuse is incorporated into the wiring and two additional fuses are included as well. The spare fuses are attached to the wiring in a small bag so that you won't have to scrounge around for a spare fuse if your main fuse blows. Very well thought out and convenient design.

I haven't hooked it up yet , i am using it for the tool area inside my trailer . I have a solar panel with two 6 volt batteries and having a plug socket will be handy . The item that I got does appear to be manufactured well , good wire and good eyelets and the socket looks good too . I checked , it fits the charger also .The only downfall is I don't have a way to attach or mount it , I do wish it came with some sort of bracket for mounting .
