Iron Health 42.5 Mg Non-Constipating Iron with 16 Iron-Supporting Vitamins and Nutrients Including Vitamin C 60 Tablets

I have tried over a dozen iron supplements over the last couple years, and none of them seemed to help get me up to the levels my body needed for long.This is a blend of bioavailable iron, iodine, niacin, and 12 essential vitamins and minerals. It did turn the "inner plumbing" green for a few days, but I was not constipated and I did not have an upset stomach. I did note a bit of irritability in later half of the days I took them- which I think has to do with the thyroid supporting minerals and niacin doing their job on my low thyroid levels at same time.The results were almost immediate- the deep fatigue and weakness I was struggling with lifted and I felt better than I had in months. This has become my go-to on managing my iron and the supplement part of my thyroid treatments.That said, this has 236% of your daily iron needs. You MUST take this under medical supervision to avoid iron toxicity, and it can't be a daily supplement once you return back to normal levels. I'm currently taking one every 1-2 weeks under a doctor's watch to act as maintenance.

This review is for the American Supplements Iron Health 60 Tablets.I suffer from anemia and my doctor tells me to take iron. Iron has side effects, as anyone who takes iron regularly is probably aware. I ordered the American Supplements iron because it is claimed to be "non-constipating". Sorry if that is too much information.My one complaint with the American Supplements iron is that the pills are large and difficult for me to swallow. For this I took off a star.

I got these thinking it was just iron. If you look closely it’s actually a multivitamin that includes iron. More than expected. Bigger than expected. Tastes more like multivitamin. On its own if it is what you are looking for, it’s okay. Just be certain that you aren’t intending to just take iron alone.

I love this supplement because it provides everything you might need for your iron deficiency. Its a rather large pill so kinda hard to swallow for some people. The smell is strong but not repulsive and the taste is kinda nice to me. Comes in a very well protected bottle and I love the many different helpful ingredients!

I take this because I was low on my iron values but it’s definitely helped me out in that regard. It has a slight vitamin-like taste as you’d expect and the pill is fairly large, but that’s a small price to pay (literally and figuratively) for being on top of your health. I absolutely recommend this!

The name is kinda odd to me, since this is clearly a multivitamin, although they claim that the vitamins are chosen to help with iron absorption. I’m not sure how different the ingredients are from most multis and have placed it into my supply of multivitamin bottles.The caplets themselves (oblong tablets) smell like multivitamins and are medium-large. I don’t have swallowing issues but if you do, at least a serving is only one. I always find it annoying when a vitamin manufacturer doses them so that you have to take 4 per day or something. So this one is much more convenient that way.

This is advertised as an iron supplement, yet it is really a wide-spectrum multivitamin, with high doses of the spectrum of B vitamins, Vitamin C, and a variety of other vitamins and minerals. I like what is in this supplement; the one concern I have with this is that if you don't look carefully at everything in this supplement, you could end up taking an excess amount of certain vitamins and minerals. I feel that the label should be more forthcoming about this having a wide spectrum of vitamins and minerals.
