This remote was just like the original. It was super easy to setup and works great.

I bought two of these . After reading the instructions I went out to my garage door mechanism and got them both programmed in about 5 minutes. Half that time was getting my ladder set so I could push the button on the mechanism. I was actually surprised at how quick and easy it was to do this. One thing of note is that for my particular model only the right side button works to open the door. This is not the fault of the remote, but has to do with the technology. I sure enjoy the convenience now that I can open my garage door so easily.

I don’t know why my husband and I wasted months calling each other when we got home to open the garage when we could have bought this from the start! It literally took under 10 seconds to program each remote. I just cannot believe how well these worked. I highly recommend buying this if your remotes are no longer working for you.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I have very old, outdated one-button remotes. I don't even know the year of my garage opener since I bought my home from an elderly person. I dropped one remote a few months ago, and since I had a spare, I took my time looking for a replacement. Sunday, I dropped the other. Sure enough, my fear was met as I had to leave my garage door open as I ran my errand. I don't keep many items in my garage, however. It's not attached to my house. So I packed up the few items loose in my garage into my SUV and locked all the doors, and for two days my garage functioned as a carport. I am grateful for the Overhead Door company for having their older model garage door opener manuals on their web site. From there, I learned about this universal remote for my date-unknown garage opener. I am grateful for Amazon's 2-day shipping. Ordered Sunday, delivered Tuesday. Took me less than 30 seconds per remote to program them and see that I could once again close/open my garage door. Come payday, I'll buy another dual set just in case. After 4 years living in my house, dropping my two prior door remote openers and they somehow not working after that (even changing the batteries) that the internal computer-like components must've came loose, I am likely to have a mishap with these two remotes. Having extra spares would be a peace of mind for me. I can only imagine if I had kept a lot of valuables in my garage and I couldn't secure them all when I had to leave my garage door open for 3 days and 2 nights. The only way in/out is through the car door opening. I am grateful these universal remotes exist at a wonderful price, and that Overhead Door company keeps their old manual accessible on their web site so I didn't have to call out a professional and pay so much more to fix this. Lesson learned!

We replaced our two older Overhead Garge Door Three Button openers with this item. Thus far they work great and my husband had no issue with programming either of our units. Another buyer indicated that the buttons jiggle around, but I find this ONLY occurs on a bumpy road as they seem quiet on a regular road. I gave this a 4 star rating b/c the buttons do jiggle around on a bumpy road and this did not occur with our original set of openers. We would purchase these replacement units again for our Overhead Garage doors.

Loved everything about it. Install ( sync up to garage door ) took 2 minutes. Did it myself, easy peasy. Works beautifully, from a good distance. First 2 buttons don’t do anything, but that’s fine. Only need the one to open and close.

I have two garage doors, each with their own remote. I've tolerated two remotes in my vehicle for a couple of years. I was seeking a better solution when one of the remotes became difficult to use. I found this unit on Amazon. I ordered two - one for each vehicle. They arrived quickly, were incredibly easy to program to match my two openers, and they work great. I can't believe I waited a couple of years to find these and install them. Great product!
