Excellent Product for an 1800 sq. ft. home
I have a 500 Mbps fiber plan and this router hits the sweet spot with its speed and coverage. I live in an 1800 sq. ft. home with 3 bedrooms, and despite the router being located two bedrooms away from my PC I am able to maintain 100% of the speed I'm paying for with a stable connection. This router is able to deliver fast and stable connections across a Netflix and Prime Video streaming TV, two mobile devices, one laptop and one PC active during prime time evening usage.

It works good
I had tried another router before this one and could not get it to work. I thought I was doing something wrong until I found it wouldn’t work with others either. So glad I switched to this one. It was recommended by someone else who had it. This was way better, I set it up quickly and easily. Only hook up to the internet source and plug in to power. It gave me the connection I needed through WiFi. I haven’t had any problems or connection issues. I bought it on a good deal as well. Definitely, would recommend it buy again.

Small but mighty
This was an inexpensive replacement for our router that died. I thought it was going to be a temporary fix until we could get to the big blue box store for a more expensive router. This one works great! Easy to set up and works with our newer satellite internet. Our streaming is much faster now so we are keeping this inexpensive but mighty machine!

Do Not Buy - Warranty not honored
SHORT VERSION: Any company that keeps you on the phone for 4 hours of tech support, can't fix the issue, and still won't honor the warranty isn't a company I want to buy from. LONG VERSION: I have 2 Linksys MR20EC routers bought in Jan. 2025 & July 2025. After about 8 hours of troubleshooting, I determined that the one bought in Jan. was defective - wild swings in internet speed from 500 Mbps to 30 Mbps multiple times per hour. It was also intermittently dropping wi-fi connections with devices farther than 20 feet away. Meanwhile, the router bought in July was working perfectly: consistent speeds and connections stable as far as 35+ feet. I've now spent 4 hours (over 2 separate days) on the phone with Linksys Tech support, and they still won't honor the warranty, despite devices dropping connection while I was on the phone with them... despite the fact that I have the same make and model router that actually does work (for comparison). Their recommendation? Well, I may just need a child node to reach distant locations over 20 feet. That will fix the issue. (Yes, it will because the router is DEFECTIVE!) And I can separate the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz channels because that "might" be causing the issue. (Funny how that isn't a problem with the router I bought in July!) I was told to "monitor the situation" for a few more days and call back (for the third time) if I still had issues... so we can do MORE troubleshooting. I've had it! I hope this honest review of my experience with their routers and tech support saves someone else the time and money I've wasted with Linksys. I had a Netgear Nighthawk that worked flawlessly for 4 years before it had to be replaced. I won't buy Linksys again.

Easiest router that I've ever installed.
I don't know why users were having less than stellar experiences. It took me all of 15 minutes to unpack, find an empty receptacle for the wall wart, and configure the router. Using the app, which I thought was excellent, the unit practically installed itself. No negatives at all, and it's running at MAX speed.

It works fine.
I bought this as a second router to connect to my main router and thereby extend WiFi to my office which is in a separate building behind the house. I connected the two routers with a Cat5 ethernet cable. My main router is also Linksys, but apparently is a different kind, so I had a little confusion setting it up as I was trying to follow instructions on a YouTube video that did not apply to a Mesh style router as this new one. My son was able to help me and eventually got it all working. If this is to be your only router I'm sure you will have no problems like I encountered. If you're using this as a secondary router to extend your network, yes, it can and will work, just don't ask me what my son did. ha ha The bottom line is it is working for me and I now have WiFi in my office, so I don't have to use my phone data for everything.
