This took about ten hours to put together, but it was as fun as any jigsaw puzzle. It takes a lot of patience, a ton of little, exact movements, but it was worth it. Everyone that comes to our house talks about the intricacy or the details in the bookshop. I found I had quite a few books left over, which enabled me to personalize my bookshop a bit. Not having a bunch of experience with electrical work, it did take a bit to figure out the wiring. The material was solid and the pieces were a tight fit (which is good for puzzles like this!!). I used super glue for everything, and the finished product is awesome!!

This will be a fun project for rainy days! Looking forward to constructing this!

This kit is big disappointment. Instructions are poor and photos dark so hard to follow. MANY pieces received stuck firmly together and unable to be separated. Those that could be pried apart were then damaged. A few pieces of furniture survived but most, like couch and a bookcase were of very poor design unlike anything I ve seen from kits of other companies Fabric also is shoddy. Do not buy. Worst kit ever- I actually discarded the whole kit due to quality of materials.

This kit will be the perfect summer project for my nine-almost-ten year old granddaughter. She loves tiny dollhouses and prefers animals to the little human dolls. I was a little disappointed that there are only five little animals included, since it is supposed to be a pet shop, but we have some we can add in. The instructions are very detailed. I don't think it will be hard to put together, but it would be too hard for her by herself. The kit says it's for fourteen and up, and I think that's about right as I look through the instruction booklet.The pieces pop out of the wood cleanly and easily. In the last two photos, you can see me holding one piece, then I popped it out easily with only the hand that was holding it. I'm not "allowed" to start putting it together without her, but of the projects lined up waiting for school to end, I think this will be the first she jumps on. If there are any problems or unexpected difficulties as we assemble it, I'll update my review. It there's no update by the end of summer, all went well and we've playing with this sweet little pet shop.

I put together the bookshop miniature. There were some difficult parts to understand how the pieces should be built but overall it was a fun project. It now sits in my office on a bookshelf shelf, great decor piece. This would be a fun gift for a crafty adult

I received this item as part of the Amazon Vine program.This model/building kit is pretty good. It's well-made and fairly easy to construct. Just follow the included paper instructions. I have been building Legos, Gundams, and other model kits for ages, and this kit took me around 3 hours to complete. In terms of difficulty, it's like your average HG Gundam or those simple 50-dollar Lego kits. Not hard at all.Overall, 5/5.

I love doing these. All the ones I've done before have had all the pieces and was in great condition. This one has small wooden pieces stuck together, broken pieces and missing pieces. Probably just this one box. So check all bags before assembling.
