Screen Protector for Onyx Boox Palma 2 / Palma 1, Light Anti Glare Paper Texture Feeling Matte Film- AG Light Paper

My favorite screen protector of all time. Went on with ease. I think there is a possibility that some reviewers may not have noticed that there is a protective film over BOTH sides of the screen protector when it is new. One has an obvious tab. The other (unless I missed it) did not, but nonetheless I peeled it off (using a fingernail to get it started) before finishing with the included squeegee. It was easy to apply, fit well, feels better than the actual screen on the finger, IS matte (but the second protective film that I think some may have missed IS NOT), and I even had to remove the entire thing to reposition it because I put it on crooked at first. Still no issue. Too soon to comment durability, but super impressed so far. Edited to add - I'm buying another right away so I have it if I need to replace it. That's how much I like this screen protector.

I looooove the texture of this screen protector! I have a similar one on my ipad for writing and drawing, and I expected the palma to have one like that built in, for some reason. Anyway, this feels great and looks great since it doesnt reflect much or pick up fingerprints. My only complaint is it's nearly impossible to align perfectly, so there are a couple spots around the edge that aren't perfectly down. And yes, like others said, there's a film on the front of the protector that you have to take off after you apply it to the device.

I got this back in February. It was doing great and I figured that the glossiness and fingerprint I could get over. I ended up getting random prints on the screen and I even went as far as contacting Boox Palma about a screen repair because I was under the impression it was the screen as it didn’t wipe off. To my surprise, I never took the top layer of the plastic film the whole time and my screen turned out fine. If they just add that to their instructions it would be great so no one makes the same mistake as I did.

I like the size and customization abilities of the device, but sadly it’s not worth the price. After only owning the device for a little over a month, the screen broke and Boox will not cover the cost of repair or shipping (totaling half the cost of the device). The device has been in a case since I purchased it and has always been inside an additional protective sleeve when not in use. You would expect an e-reader of this cost to be sturdy. I’ll be switching back to Kindle after this.

It is a great screen protector once I realized my installation mistake. After you've installed the screen protector, don't forget, like I did, to remove the thin plastic film covering the actual screen protector. While it was my mistake, they could improve the product by updating the installation instructions or adding separate pull tabs for both layers of protective film that need to be removed.

I loved the feel, it was very much like very coarse paper. Applying the thing was as challenging as they said. I cleaned the screen, used the dust remover, and did the application in a humid environment. I still got bubbles at the edges where there we ostensibly tiny pieces of debris on the glue side that prevented complete adhesion. The protector itself is pretty rigid, so there is no margin for debris getting between the screen and the glued side. You also only get one in the pack so you only get one shot. I was dissatisfied with my application because of the bubbles. The fit is perfect, it is cut well. I won't try with this one again, I don't know what is better, but I can't recommend this one.

I was hesitant to try after reading through the reviews, but I had a good feeling that I could use my lens cleaner to wet-install the screen protector like I've done on all my ArmorSuit installations — sadly, no Palma 2 listing and takes too long for a custom order. I can happily report it worked just like I had hoped with no bubbles whatsoever! The matte texture is surprisingly 'light' as described while at the same time being rough to the touch, I was worried it might be too 'light' but nope — this is perfect, especially in direct glare 😎

Amo como se siente, si se siente como papel y si es mate, no arruina para nada la pantalla e-ink pero si fue difícil de instalar de forma que quedara derecha. No me encantó como me quedó pero el punto es que proteja la pantalla así que siento que está bien por ahora

Such a lovely paper-like texture and offers great protection for my e-ink screen which as we all know is very delicate and prone to scratching! Fairly easy to apply - just make sure you line it up first and push the air out the corners.
