The ATtom Tech cloth charger stand has stood up to daily use so far. Updating my review because I had to get a new case for my Galaxy S8 and went with an Otterbox commuter. Now the charger connects and disconnects every couple of minutes. Removing the case and placing phone directly on the charger and the issue goes away, which means it's due to the limited range of the charging field. I found online literature that does state <3mm case thickness for best performance. For the price it would be nice to get a bit more charging range to support thicker cases.****** original review******Wanted a charging stand that wasn't a boring plastic lump and still looked good on my office desk. The Attom Tech cloth charger stand fits the bill perfectly- Charging: It supports fast charging with my Samsung Galaxy S8 - with a Spigen Neo Hybrid case - without an issue. Every time I place the phone on (centered), it starts charging within a second. Have not yet had to adjust it to find the charge spot. It also works with an aftermarket Qi receiver installed in a Moto X (2nd Gen) with a Supcase hybrid case. In other words, it seems to charge well through cases and with both aftermarket and factory Qi receivers.- Design: This stand combines function and design very well. All the plastic stands out there are either boring, have a huge status light, or just look/feel cheap. The base is a sleek anodized aluminum and Attom Tech's logo isn't overbearing. The fabric is tight and can't shift or stretch it by pushing against it. Only the front surface is fabric, the rear is a smooth grey plastic to match the grey fabric. The base where the phone sits is a grippy rubber with a little nub on the front/middle I presume to help keep your phone from slipping forward. It does a great job holding the phone in place in both landscape and portrait orientations.My only gripe would be that the stand is too light so it can slide easy without the additional weight of a phone. It's be great if the metal stand were thicker, a weight added to base, or if it had non-slip feet. Right now depending on how you place the phone onto the stand, it tends to tilt or slide a little. Certainly minor in my opinion and will not prevent me from buying a second for my night stand at home. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quality Control Issues *by J***B on Reviewed in the United States on November 9, 2018* Really wanted to like this charger. I think the design is sleek and much nicer than the other's I've seen. Unfortunately the unit I received had many nicks and scratches in the metal frame. The Attom Tech printing on the front is pretty weak looking as well. The fabric is nice and the charger seems to function, just wish the rest of it lived up to what is portrayed in the pics on Amazon.Update 11/27/2018 - Seller responsive, has sent out replacement. Will update review when received.Update 11/29/2018 - Replacement received and is much better quality. Not sure what the deal was with the first one.
