This is overall good near artisan quality jerky. When they say SLAB, they're not kidding, one of the biggest slabs I've had. It was 1 large slab, and 1 smaller piece in my bag. And those 2 pieces couldn't have been more different from each other. The huge slab was on the moister, less jerky side and way too sweet for my liking, as in the sugar content should be cut in half. The 2nd, smaller more typical jerky size piece was more of what I expected, pepper flavor up front (not sugar) and a tough dryer piece of meat.Both pieces were good, but different from each other. If I had a choice, I'd pick the moister piece with less sweetness.

My son really likes the flavor of this brand. Seems like a value for the price

This MaxJerky Texas bbq beef jerky slab has a good peppery kick, easy to bite off and chew. The seasoning is flavorful and unbelievably good. It makes an ideal protein rich snack for in between meals. I am won over by the quality and taste of this jerky.

Great flavors, and plenty of product, but in jmo way would I ever want to drop near $50 per order to restock.

Reminds me of the huge novelty chocolate Easter bunnies. The jerky itself is wonderful, tender, smoky, and peppery. Would like to have gotten more for the price, but the quality is high enough that I don't feel cheated.

Tastes good, but overpriced. Big bag with just a few pieces for $15 is way too much for beef jerky.

These are large bags of jerky! The two pack arrived sealed with no signs of mold, moisture or any other issues.The flavor of the jerky itself is good, pretty typical for jerky. Salty of course, not super complex in spices or anything. Perhaps a bit boring for my tastes.The only negative is the chew... Some pieces can be very, very chewy. It's not the most tender jerky, which is fine, but I found this a bit tough overall. Perhaps if they used a different cut of beef or did some type of tenderizing method it would improve things a bit...Overall, it's good but really wish it wasn't so chewy.
