Fits the 72 x 48 weighted blanket well
We ordered the navy blue cotton cover, and it's been great. Yes, it comes with lots of ties...because it's designed to accommodate different brands of weighted blankets. We've had no problems. The cover is soft cotton and gets softer every wash. Color hasn't faded yet (still navy blue). This was a good decision because 1) it keeps the weighted blanket clean, 2) it's pretty, and 3) it's soft. Peer pressure: DO IT!

High Quality and Incredibly Soft
I don't often do reviews unless I discover a product on Amazon that goes way beyond my expectations. I also never thought I'd write a review on a weighted blanket cover, but here I am! I highly recommend this YnM cover as well as the YnM weighted blanket I ordered. The cover is really well made (with a zipper opening along the bottom that is well concealed along the seam) and was already comfy soft right out of the package. The colors were true to what was advertised. The manufacturer's info mentions that the material will become even softer with additional washes. I washed in cold water on the delicate setting and let the cover dry on a rack before connecting to my blanket. The cover has eight ties sewn internally that align with the loops on YnM and likely other weighted blankets. The ties are located on each corner and directly in the middle of each side. To connect the cover to the blanket, I simply turned the cover inside out, did a single loop shoelace tie on each loop/tie.Tip for those who may be new to weighted blankets or the concept of covers in general: After you connect the blanket to the cover, stick your arms in and all the way through the cover and grab onto the two corners furthest away from you. Pull the corners all the way out until they are now on the outside and the blanket is on the inside. I know this is probably obvious to a lot of people, but you really don't know what you don't know. :)If you buying as a gift, the packaging the cover comes in is well done and definitely not treated as an afterthought as sometimes happens with manufacturer's on Amazon.

Very good quality
This cooling bamboo viscose material is very cooling to the touch and is well made to complement the weighted blanket. It feels great, and isn't hot, even in the hot and humid place we live. We are impressed by the quality and craftsmanship

It’s 2024, why are we still doing this?
The media could not be loaded. Duvet is fine, light weight, fits, easy to wash but the idea that adding small straps with snaps instead of the ribbons is t something they’ve done blows my mind.

Keeps your weighted blanket safe
We have both the army green and the navy 60" x 80" cotton duvet covers to go with our weighted blankets by the same company. The army green one doesn't have as many strings as the blanket has loops, but the navy one does. I don't know why they're different, but if you're looking for one that has the same number of strings as the blanket has loops, the navy one has them. The duvet covers are like weird sleeping bags for your blankets. They're kind of floppy and turn your blanket into a sort of blob. But they're worth it because they make it so you don't have to try and wash the weighted blanket itself, just the duvet cover. I don't think our washer could handle a weighted blanket (it gets off balance really easily and if it can't right itself, whatever's in it stays completely soaked), but I really, really wanted one, and having this cover makes it doable.

The ties are poorly secured
The minky is soft and warm and the bamboo is smooth and allows the coolness of the beads to soak through, very excellent in the heat of the summer. The only problem with this is that the minky on top prevents the heat from escaping and the beads, and therefore the whole blanket, becomes quite warm after several hours. I find the cover great during the late fall, winter and early spring, but during the hotter months only like it as a lap blanket or for naps, and not for overnight. The worst feature of this (and likely all YnM blankets) is the lack of strength and number of ties to secure the heavy weighted blanket. My blanket is 18 lbs and 60x80", and only a tie in each corner and a single tie in the center of each side holds the blanket in place, with each tie held by only the standard hem of the blanket. Unsurprisingly, several ties have ripped straight off the cover and still cling uselessly to the loops on the blanket, as the blanket shifts obnoxiously around inside. At least one additional tie per side, and probably two extra ties on the long sides, would spread the weight between them better, and additional reinforcement of the stitches would add security.

good quality, will need to be replaced eventually
i've loved this duvet cover for the weighted blanket so much because it allows me to wash the outside whenever it starts to smell off. it's kept the original weighted blanket in good condition for a long time now.i have had this cover for a bit over 3 years now (i bought it originally in september 2019), and i'd say it's pretty good for what it is. unfortunately though, over the last month or so i've been noticing that there's been some light tears in some places or the fabric seeming to be stretched thin. recently i had the blanket on my lap and tried lifting it, and i felt the fabric rip a lot. the rip looks to be about the size of my hand (i will try to post a picture later), and mending it seems an unnecessary action because of the fact that the fabric is so thin.my understanding on why this is the end result of normal wear and tear is because of the nature of how you attach the duvet cover to the weighted blanket, which is by tying some shoelace-wide ropes in the inside of the cover to the belt-like buckles on the corners and middles of the weighted blanket.overall i am really happy with this product and intend on buying another to replace it, but let it be known that by the nature and design of the product- you'll have to buy it again.

This is a perfect cover for a queen size weighted blanket. Has hooks all around to hold blanket firmly. Easy to insert blanket; I did the insertion on my own & it was easy. The material is soft and cozy on the skin. Very happy with my purchase.
