Great cutter! Amazing price. Easy to use and clean. Very versatile

I purchased another v-shape mandoline type slicer a month ago. The blade was sharp and the slicing was efficient. But, I have to say be very careful! This is just a word of caution for all of those slicers with open blades: the blades are extremely sharp and dangerous to handle. Yes, I cut my right thumb within a week of use even I told myself to be careful. So I started looking for an alternative, and then I found some newer models of slicers. I believe they came out in recent year because I don’t remember I saw this kind of slicers before. I purchased this slicer recently , and all blades are not hidden inside and there’s no worry on cutting my fingers. It allows fast, efficient and precise cutting, with adjustable blades for several thicknesses. It has become one of my favorite kitchen gadgets, great for making potato slices, fries and julienne strips. Overall, it’s a great and safe kitchen tool that helps my food prep. If you are looking to get the job done safely and efficiently, I highly recommend this inexpensive slicer.

I get nervous using mandolines with an "e" because I'm always worried about cutting myself. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way, which is why I love that this set comes with gloves and a hand guard to protect your hands. It's great for slicing veggies and fruits thin or up to about 1/4 inch thick! It's so easy to use and makes my slices look uniform, making me feel like a pro. Plus, it ensures that my scalloped potatoes cook evenly. It's easy to clean, but be careful because the blades are sharp. This gadget is perfect for chopping and slicing fruits and veggies, and it comes with interchangeable blades to do even more in the kitchen. It even includes a grating blade for cheese or veggies – think of all the zucchini bread you can make! You can easily adjust the thickness of the slices with the dial, and it's dishwasher safe, too. The glove is also comfortable to use.

We have a salad every day for lunch, which means lots of chopping and prep 2-3 days per week. My husband and I use mandoline slicers to speed things along. We’ve used quite a few. This new one is the best we’ve used so far. It protects my fingers far better than any other I’ve had, is very simple to operate, doesn’t require brute strength, and veggies slice up so uniformly. We haven’t used the grating blades yet, as slicing peppers, cucumbers, carrots, and radishes are what we mainly do. But I’m very impressed with the slicing. Clean-up is easy too, I just rinse all the parts when done, it has a small footprint, and all the parts fit into the base for storage, so I simply leave it on the counter. I would recommend this as I’m happy with the performance.

"I love cooking, but one of my least favorite things is dicing onions and tomatoes. I do have very sharp knives in my kitchen, but it's still tough for me to get the consistent size with onions (not to mention the tears), and tomatoes make juice everywhere! This device is just what i needed to make my cooking experience even more enjoyable. The blades are sharp and two sizes are offered for dicing. You will have to make at least one cut on your vegetables before loading into the slicer, but once you get it to a size that fits, the dicing is a breeze. I love that there is a strainer in the design so my tomato juices are all contained and i can just get the diced pieces without the juice! Another thing I love is that it is easy to clean (dishwasher safe), and includes a little cleaning blade to get into the nooks and crannies. Additionally, you can fit all the accessories in the main body which makes storage a breeze. I would definitely recommend this tool to add to any home chef's kitchen!"

This vegetable cutter has been a game changer for me and saves me so much time. The vegetable cutter can cut the vegetables in many different ways such as Julienne, matchstick, or slicing in two different thickness. Ever since I have been using this, I have been eating a lot more veggies to keep me fit and healthy. The chopper is very easy to clean and the pieces are very easily detachable. Also, I love how it doesn’t take much space on my kitchen countertop. The vegetable chopper looks very stylish and goes perfectly with my kitchen interior and other things. The safety feature is wonderful because you don’t have to touch the blade when slicing the vegetable and worry about cutting your fingers. The blade is very strong which cuts the veggies very quickly, neatly, and evenly. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves to eat veggies because now it can be cut on a lot less time.

I thought this may be a good all around Mandolin slicer, Unfortunately it is not. Several videos show it slicing tomatoes and potatos. While they may slice them well, you will have to cut them to a size to fit into the small shoot. If you want a thinly sliced tomato or onion,this is not the product you want unless they are very small in diameter. Good idea poor execution (or marketing) of a product. The easy convience factor is good for only limited vegetables. Luckily it was not too expensive so I can just toss it in the trash.

I ordered this on the 29th of May last year and I finally used it (forgot about it). It’s amazing! I’m clumsy (I have so many cuts on my hands) and a lazy cook (so lazy, that if a lazy recipe tells me to cut an onion, I’m out). This makes it so much easier to actually have the patience to cook especially if you eat mostly vegetables like me.

Used and dirty
