One person here said they did the burn test and it failed, yet it passed mine. It may have been the bubbling that threw them off. But the fabric turns to ash rather than shrivels and melts, and the flame is not only invisible on the silk as it should be, but it stops burning the second the heat source is taken away. The bubbling does have me wonder if maybe this is a blend, or perhaps it was some thread in the way.Either way, it is very, very soft and at least is mostly real silk. Its a great bang for your buck and all that. It is thin, but what do you expect. You aren't going to get three nice, thick mulberry silk scrunchies for anything close to this price. They're actually very expensive. But for the price, it is well made and worth it with nicer material than you'd find elsewhere for this much. I already had to return several sets of scrunchies from other brands as it's common for people to just straight up lie and claim their polyester is real silk. Some even have the audacity to list the momme, as if they read articles on how to tell real silk online just so they could fool people.But I'm happy with this one. Now all I need to find are the smaller ones for braids.

I read another review on here that said these were actually real silk (so many of the “silk” pillowcases and scrunchies I’ve purchased on here say “100%silk” and then they’re actually polyester satin, grrrrrrr) so I bought them. They’re actually real silk!!! You can tell by taking a thread of the material and lighting it on fire. If it melts it’s polyester satin. If it’s silk it will burn to ash and smell like burning hair. These scrunchies passed the test! Yaaaaay!

My daughter’s dance ensemble is black, so it goes with that. The elastic is a bit on the looser side but with a hair coloured hairband under first, it works.

I landed on these hairties after searching for xs/xxs silk scrunchie. These are not even small. They are normal sized scrunchies. They are nice though, just not what I wanted, i was looking for something that did not need to be doubled over to hold my hair back while sleeping (so I can avoid the painful lump of scrunchie fabric on my head when laying down.

It's hard to find scrunchies that can fit around my wrist without squeezing too tight, and I don't even have big wrists! If they're too tight on my wrist that means they're also too tight on my hair and give me headaches and leave creases, but I haven't had that problem with these. They're gentle and they stay in place well. Very happy with them.

Love these. Perfect size, beautiful colors, and they hold the hair nicely in place without leaving a band mark. And they look much prettier than a regular hair band.
