This vent hose worked well for my application. It seems to be very sturdy and it will collapse back if you need it to. Info says it's 8 ft.long, I didn't need quite that much so I cut to the length I needed. I would purchase again if needed.

Fits good like the metal clamps

The hose 4" ID is the same as my dryer 4" OD. If their ID was just a tenth larger, it would slide on easy and the hose clamp can do it's job of sealing everything up. As it was, it took me half an hour of frustration to install. I finally used some plier and gently bent my dryer outlet tube inward to get the d*mn thing to slide on.
