Valve fails to operate properly
This valve is garbage. The one that came with the fermenter came completely apart dumping 13 gallons of sticky liquid onto my kitchen floor. Per the instructions it says to tighten the packing nut that holds the ball inside the valve. Called fast ferment for a replacement valve and was told to reorder a new one and I'd be reimbursed the cost of second valve. 7 days later still waiting on the reimbursement. I received the second valve and follow the instructions. Now the valve will not open or close with the provided handle. I had to use a pipe wrench to open and close the valve via stem sticking out of the handle. Eventually this will break. This is not a well-made valve or part for this application.
